CUET PG 2025: As per the schedule, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to kick start the fourth edition of the Common University Entrance Test-Postgraduate (CUET PG) today, March 13, 2025. Elaier NTA has released the detailed subject-wise CUET PG exam dates sheet to facilitate the smooth conduction of the whole process. As per it, the exams will be held in three shifts: Shift 1 from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Shift 2 from 12:30 to 2 p.m., and Shift 3 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Students who are going to appear in the national-level entrance exam should minutely follow the exam day guidelines given on this page.
CUET PG 2025 Exam Highlights
The CUET PG 2025 will held for a window of 24 days starting from March 13 to April 01, 2025. As per the official figure, this year a total of 4,12,024 unique candidate registrations for CUET PG 2025. For the students who successfully submitted their application before the last date, the board has released the CUET PG Admit cards via the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG.
The 2025 edition of the Common University Entrance test for postgraduate admission has underway multiple crucial changes, which aspirants must refer to before going to the exam center.
- The CUET PG 2025 exam will be administered online as a computer-based test (CBT) at the designated exam centers
- Candidates will receive four marks for accurate answers and one mark for wrong responses. Unanswered questions will not receive a mark. To improve scores and avoid penalties, candidates should carefully answer each question.
- Candidates will be given 90 minutes to solve 75 multiple-choice questions.
- The CUET 2025 exam was previously scheduled for 2 hours (120 minutes), but was cut to 1 hour 45 minutes (105 minutes) last year. The CUET PG 2025 exam now lasts 1.5 hours (90 minutes).
- The number of questions stays at 75, which is based on the only domain-specific subject, No Section A is included.
- The total number of CUET PG 2025 exam centres in India has been reduced to 285. In 2025, there will be 27 international CUET PG exam centers, including three new locations in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Oslo (Norway), and Frankfurt/Berlin (Germany).
CUET PG 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

- On the exam day, candidates must present their CUET PG 2025 admit card as well as a valid ID. Candidates who do not bring their CUET PG 2025 hall ticket will not be permitted to enter the examination hall.
- Carry the since it is your ticket to the exam hall. Make sure the CUET PG Exam Admit Card is clearly printed on A4-size paper (preferably in colour) and includes your photo and signature.
- Bring an original and a photocopy of a government ID, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, driver’s license, or college ID.
- Arrive at the exam centre at least an hour before the time specified on your admit card to allow for security checks and familiarisation with the exam atmosphere.
- Dress comfortably and according to the exam center’s dress code.
- Avoid wearing jewellery and clothing with complex needlework or pockets, as they might cause delays during security checks.
