CUET PG LLB Notification 2025 Important Changes

Recently, the NTA, in accordance with the UGC, Union Grant Commission, has proposed recommendations for the CUET PG LLB examination for the academic year 2025. A committee of experts was formed to assess the exam’s administration and recommend the necessary changes. The committee reviewed different facets of the examination, including its format, number of sections, length of test papers, curriculum, and operational procedures.

The CUET PG exam is very competitive for gaining entry into master’s degree programs. Last year, a combined total of 4 lakh, 62 thousand candidates took part, undergoing 7,68,414 tests. Aspirants can view the newest updates implemented by the NTA below:

• Frequency of the Exam: Once a year
• Exam Pattern: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• New Duration of the exam: 90 minutes per subject per paper
• Question Type: Compulsory with negative marking
• Exam Paper Language: Bilingual
• Difficulty Level: Similar to CUET PG 2024
• CUET PG General Question Paper: Revised to evaluate skill-related knowledge pertinent to particular careers and undergraduate programs.
• Admission Criteria: Based on the guidelines of the UGC and CUET PG score.
• Specialized Courses: Universities might allocate particular weight to CUET PG scores for entry into specialized programs.

Important Points in CUET PG LLB Notification 2025

• The specifics of the programs provided by Central Universities (CUs), State Universities, and other universities and organizations involved can be found on their individual websites and also at https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/ and cuetpg.ntaonline.in.
• Candidates should thoroughly consult the eligibility criteria of the programs available at several Central Universities and involved Universities / Organizations in this regard.
• The language of the Question Paper for CUET (PG) – 2025 will be English and Hindi (bilingual), with the exception of language papers, M. Tech/Higher Sciences, and Acharya papers, except for Hindu Studies, Baudha Dharshan, and Indian Knowledge System.
• A total of 157 subjects will be available in the CUET (PG) – 2025 (mentioned in Annexure 1 of the CUET PG Information Bulletin 2025).
• The CUET (PG) – 2025 will be available in 312 cities, which include 27 cities located outside of India (mentioned in detail in Annexure 2 of the CUET PG 2025 Information Booklet).
• Candidates are advised to consult the Information Bulletin of CUET (PG) – 2025 on the website: https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/ for details regarding Papers, Scheme, Timing, eligibility, and other information.
• Applicants may submit their applications for CUET (PG) – 2025 exclusively through the “Online” method at the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/. Any application form submitted by other methods will be rejected.
• A candidate is allowed to submit just one application. Under no conditions, candidates will be permitted to submit more than one Application Form. Firm measures will be implemented, even subsequently, against any candidates who have submitted multiple Application Forms.

• Applicants must adhere closely to the guidelines provided in the Information Bulletin and on the website https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/. Those who do not follow the instructions will be immediately disqualified.
• Applicants must guarantee that the email address and mobile number listed in the Online Application Form belong solely to them or their Parents/Guardians, as all information and communication will be transmitted by NTA solely via email to the registered email address or SMS to the registered mobile number.

• Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the NTA website(s) www.nta.ac.in and https://exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/ for the most recent updates about the exam.
• The candidate is allowed to list a maximum of 04 cities as options based on their current and permanent address.
• While every attempt will be made to assign a Centre in one of the cities chosen by the candidate, the NTA retains the right to assign a city to the candidate that may, in exceptional situations, be outside the selected options due to administrative considerations.
