The National Testing Agency has started the CUET PG Registration Process for the year 2025 on its newly launched official website at https://cuetpg.ntaonline.in/. Interested and eligible students in the final year of the undergraduate courses can now apply for the CUET Postgraduate examination only online.
As per the notification released, the last date to fill out the CUET PG 2025 registration form is February 1, 2025. Through the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET PG), students gain admission to their desired PG programmes at all central universities and other participating institutions. CUET PG Registration 2025 Starts at cuetpg.ntaonline.in
The CUET PG 2025 exams are set for March 13–31, 2025, in 312 places across India, including 27 cities abroad. CUET PG acts as a centralized admissions portal for postgraduate programs at Central Universities and other participating institutions. To appear i the exam, candidates must first make a registered account by visiting the official website, cuetpg.ntaonline.in, and filling out the essential information requested by the officials, such as the candidate’s name, parents’ names, e-mail address, mobile number, and photo ID proof.
Using the newly generated CUET PG 2025 registered account, applicants must now complete the application form, and pick their exam city preference, courses, and universities. The final submission of the application form will be made by paying the CUET PG registration fee.
NTA CUET PG 2025 – Major Changes
The 2025 versions of the CUET PG has undergone major changes as compared to the prior year. Students who are planning to appear in the exam should be aware the latest changes done by NTA in the Common University entrance test for Postgraduate Admission. The key changes are listed below.
New CUET PG Official Website Launched
pgcuet.samarth.ac.in is no longer the NTA CUET PG Official website. The exam conducting body has upgraded the official website to cuetpg.ntaonline.in. This newly launched portal will hold all the major events such complete application process, admit card release, exam city allotment, correction window, and so on. The motive behind the change in the CUET PG 2025 Official website is to make the process more smooth and user-friendly to the stakeholders.
Application Form Fee Increased
As per the Information brochure, NTA has increased the CUET PG Application fee for all the categories. The application fee for CUET PG 2025 has been raised by Rs 200 in all categories, including General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Non-Creamy Layer (NCL), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD). The fee increase applies to up to two test papers in India, with extra papers costing Rs 100 more. For international applicants, the price has been increased by Rs 1,000 for up to two papers and Rs 1,500 for additional papers.
Decline in Number of Exam Centers
The CUET PG 2025 exam now allows students to choose up to four cities, up from the previous maximum of two. Furthermore, the number of exam cities in India has decreased to 285, but worldwide test centers have expanded. New international centers are established in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Oslo (Norway), and Frankfurt/Berlin (Germany).
Changes in CUET 2025 Exam Duration
The CUET PG 2025 exam duration has been decreased to 1.5 hours (90 minutes) based on the new exam pattern. Last year, the CUET exam was shortened from 2 hours (120 minutes) to 1 hour and 45 minutes (105 minutes). The exam contains the same number of questions i,e 75 MCQs from the selected domain subject only. Candidates can select up to four question paper codes from a specified list.
CUET PG 2025 Registration Dates
In the official press release, NTA has announced all the important dates along with the commencement of the registration process. According to the stated CUET PG 2025 Registration Dates, eligible candidates must submit their application forms by February 1, with costs due by February 2. Candidates will also be allowed to make changes to their CUET PG application forms between February 3 and 5, 2025. The exam location will be announced in early March, and admit cards will be distributed four days before the exam. How do you fill out the CUET PG Application Form 2025?
The Application process for the CUET PG 2025 includes several steps such as registration, filling out the application form and documents, and paying the fee. It should be noted all the aspirants that the whole process is completed online through the NTA official portal.
Step 1: Visit the official NTA CUET PG website at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/ or https://cuetpg.ntaonline.in/
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the “CUET PG 2025 Application Portal” link.
Step 3: On the newly opened page, click the “New Candidate Register Here” option.
Step 4: Register yourself by filling up essential information such as your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
Step 5: Once completed, log into your account using your application number and password.
Step 6: Fill out the application form and upload your photos and signature.
Step 7: Pay the application fees and submit the CUET PG 2025 application form.
Step 8: Download and print the application form PDF for future use.
Guidelines for Uploading the Document in CUET PG Form
- The recent photograph should be either in color or black and white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
- The scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
- The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)

CUET PG Form Fee
In 2025, the CUET PG application form has been increased compared to last year. CUET PG 2025 registration fee can only be paid online using SBI, IDBI Bank, and HDFC Bank payment gateways using a debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or wallet. Candidates are advised to preserve documentation of fee payment.

CUET PG 2025 Eligibility Requirements

- Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates appearing in the CUET (PG)-2025 examination.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates who have:
i. Passed a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination, or
ii. Appearing in Bachelor’s degree/equivalent examination in 2025, are eligible to appear in CUET (PG) 2025.
- University-Specific Criteria: As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective.
- Admission to university will be subject to compliance with the age criteria, if any, prescribed by that specific university.
- For admission to Universities through CUET (PG) – 2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc. of the respective University shall be applicable
