CUET Retest Hall Ticket 2024: About Exam
According to NTA, the grievances received from candidates up to June 30, 2024, regarding the CUET (UG) – 2024 examination, as well as the complaints written to rescuetug@nta.ac. between July 7 and 9, 2024. The objections have been reviewed. Based on these complaints, a CUET re-examination was scheduled for the concerned candidates on Friday, July 19, 2024, in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
- According to sources, one of the explanations for the retest is that question papers were distributed in languages other than those specified by the candidates. The 1,000+ affected candidates are spread across six states.
- “Some of the grievances include time loss due to the distribution of the wrong question paper,” a source told news agency PTI.
- The real CUET 2024 examination was held in 379 cities, including 26 outside India, for roughly 13.48 lakh students. The NTA conducted CUET (UG) 2024 in a hybrid modality (CBT and Pen & Paper) on May 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, and 24, 2024. The delayed CUET UG results come amid ongoing criticism over alleged anomalies in competitive exams, including NEET and NET.
- Of the 1,000 CUET UG-affected applicants for whom the NTA is conducting a retest, 250 are from Oasis Public School in Hazaribagh. This school is also being investigated for the alleged leak of the NEET UG question paper.
