Unit-4. History and Culture of Tamil Nadu:

• Political, social and religion conditions

Unit-5. Literary Criticism:

Modern Critical Theories.

To describe some literary forms like Short stories, Novel, Prose and Drama through the principle of literary criticism.

Unit-6. Tamil Literature and other disciplines:

Elements of Folklore, Computer application, Journalism.

Unit-7. Knowledge of Classical Tamil Texts:

A few Agam and Puram Poems.
