The registration process for admission into classes 6 to 11 have been started by the DoE Delhi. Students can register for the school admission on the official website. The Delhi Government School admission process has begun by the Delhi DoE with the release of the registration form. The registration form ahs been releases for admission into classes 6 to 11 of Delhi government school. Parents can register their ward for admission into the above mentioned classes for the academic session 2024-25 on the official website at edudel.nic.in. The DoE, Delhi started the registration process for admission on April 8.

The last date to register for the Delhi government school admission  for classes 6 to 11 is April 17. Parents can register their child only up to 5 PM on April 17. Delhi Government School Class 6 to Class 11 Admission 2024-25

The registration from released by the Directorate must be filled for only those students who are currently not studying in Delhi government schools (non plan category). According to the official notice, the admission procedure for Delhi government schools in the non-plan category would be conducted in three cycles. Cycle 1 (current) is only for new applicants (non-plan admissions), and those presently enrolled in government and government-aided schools must visit their schools to transfer or re-admission.

Delhi Government School Classes 6-11 Admission 2024-25: Eligibility Criteria

Students who have been declared pass/promoted in Class 5 will be enrolled online for admission to Class 6, however out-of-school youngsters will be registered in person at any school near their home. Meanwhile, all parents whose children have not attended school and are between the ages of 10 and 12 are encouraged to register them at the nearest school, where they will be assessed for Foundational Literacy and Numeracy. The results of the assessment will decide the child’s admittance class.

Delhi Government School Admission 2024-25: Age Limit

The DoE, Delhi, has released a detailed guidelines regarding the age limit for admission into the Delhi government school for the session 2024-25. The age limit for admission into classes 6 to 11 has been provided below. The cut-off date to determine the age for this admission process is March 31, 2024. Students belonging to the reserved categories will receive the age relaxation as per the criteria of the Indian Government.

Class 6: Students must have completed the age of 10 years but must be less than 12 years

Class 7: Students must have completed the age of 11 years but must be less than 13 years

Class 8: Students must have completed the age of 12 years but should be less than 14 years

Class 9: Students must have completed the age of 13 years but should be less than 15 years
