According to the schedule, the first seat allotment for the DU UG Common Seat Allocation System 2024-25 is tentatively scheduled to be announced at 05:00 pm. Tie Breaking Policy used in DU Seat Alllocation

DU also holds tie-breaker rounds for candidates who received the same scores in the CUET admission exam. If there are numerous candidates with the same CUET UG merit score for a specific program and college combination, the following policies will be taken in the sequence listed below to break the tie:
1. The applicant with the greatest percentage of overall grades in the top three XII class subjects will be prioritized.
2. The applicant with the greatest percentage of overall grades in the top four XII class subjects will be prioritized.
3. Candidates with the highest percentage of overall marks in the top five XII subjects will be prioritized.
4. The candidate’s age; those with the earliest birthdate (as shown on Class X) will be given precedence.

DU CSAS Merit List: Reservation Criteria

While preparing the Merit lists the Reservation policy will also be taken into consideration,  The following reservation specifications shall apply to admissions to Delhi University undergraduate courses.

• 22.5% of the total seats are reserved for the SC/ST students (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST).
• 27% of seats have been allocated for OBC candidates.
• 10% of seats are allotted for candidates from the EWS group.
• In Minority Colleges, 50% of the seats are reserved for minority candidates.
• Admissions to ECA and Sports supernumerary seats will be based on a 25% weightage of CUET scores and 75% on certificates, trials, and performances.
