The University is expected to conduct Three rounds of the counseling process followed by spot rounds based on the vacant nt seats, As per the release date the DU Vancent Seats List round 1 will be released on August 22, 2024. after their candidates have 2 days to make changes in the precedence before being released on the 3rd admission list which is scheduled on August 25, 2024. Vacant Seat in DU After 1st Round Admission

Delhi University (DU) announced the seat acceptance statistics from the first round of DU UG admissions 2024 counselling. According to the report, 65290 admissions have been confirmed in round 1 allocation, with 17868 admissions frozen and 42668 students opting for a freeze. Currently, 83678 total acceptances have been received out of 97387 total allocations for DU UG admission 2024 round 1.

“In the first allocation round, the University decided to make additional allocations to fill the seats optimally so that the Academic Session could begin on August 29, 2024. Overall, 97,387 allocations were made during the First Round. “This excludes allocation to performance-based programs and supernumerary quotas of CW, ECA, Sports, Ward, and Christian candidates,” the institution said in a statement.

How to Modify Preferences Based on Vacant Seats

After the release of the 1st vacant seats of the DU UG Admission, the 2-day window will be opened from August 22 to 23 to modify your preference as per the available seats in the list.
