The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the GPAT Exam Date 2025 at the at gpat.nta.nic.in. NBE is administering the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) for admission to MPharma programs from last year. GPAT Exam Date 2025

The GPAT 2025 exam date is May 25, 2025. Last year it was the 8th of the same month. The exam will take place in two shifts first in the morning and afternoon at authorized test locations all over India. GPAT entrance test serves as a gateway to some of India’s best pharmacy institutes. GPAT scores are accepted by 800 participating institutes and all AICTE-approved universities.

GPAT 2025 Exam Overview

Every year, approximately over 50 thousand individuals take the Mpharma entrance test. Last year, 68,439 individuals enrolled for the exam, with only 62,275 taking the examination. From 2019 to 2023, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administered the exam but recently in 2024, NBE started to organize this exam. The Pharmacy Council of India recently inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NBEMS to monitor the upcoming Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test 2025 examination.

GPAT Exam 2025 Eligibility Conditions

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) sets the GPAT 2025 eligibility standards, of the exam. The following are the conditions –

• Educational Qualifications –  The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or the equivalent from a recognized university.
• Appearing Students – Candidates taking the bachelor’s degree exam whose results will be announced before the start of admissions for the academic year 2025- 2026 are also eligible to apply.
• Nationality –Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Age Criteria – There are no age restrictions for taking the national-level entrance exam.

GPAT Form 2025

• Along with the dates, officials will issue the GPAT 2025 application form, which can only be filled out online.
• Candidates must begin the application form by registering on the NBEMS official website.
• Fill out the application form with your correct personal and academic information, then submit the required papers, including a passport-sized photo, signature, and educational credentials.
• After completing the form, pay the needed application fees online.
• Once you’ve completed the form, upload the necessary docs, submit your application, and save the confirmation page for your own records.

GPAT 2025 Registration Last Date

GPAT 2025 Exam Pattern

All the questions from the 6 sections will be asked in MCQ format, get more information below.

• Exam Mode – Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Type of Question -multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
• Total Question – 125
• Duration – 3 hours
• Total Marks – 500 marks.
• Marking Scheme – Each correct answer rewards 4 marks and each incorrect response deducts 1 mark, No marks will be taken for unanswered questions.

GPAT Exam 2025 Admit Card

NBEMS will provide the GPAT Admit Card 2025 about a week before the exam in May 2025. After that, visit the NBEMS website and download your admit card. Applicants will be able to download the GPAT 2025 hall ticket by providing their login credentials such as user ID and password. Please bring it along with a valid ID to the designated exam center.

MPharma Entrance Exam Answer Key 2025

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the GPAT 2025 tentative answer key in June 2025 after the exam. Students will be able to make objections to any questions that they have concerns about.
