The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH/HBSE), Bhiwani, has successfully conducted the Haryana Board Class 10 exam for the year 2024. It is confirmed that the HBSE 10th result 2024 has been released on May 12, at 12:00 P.M.

As per the stats, this year, a total of 286,714 candidates participated in the regular Class 10th examination, with 273,015 candidates successfully passed yielding a pass percentage of 95.22%. Additionally, 3,652 candidates received an Essential Repeat status, meaning they need to retake the exam.

HBSE 10th Result 2024

The Haryana Board 10th class exam was conducted from February 27 to March 26 in offline mode. The BSEH Chairman, Dr.V P Yadav, declared the Haryana Board Class 10th Result 2024 during a press conference. Out of 2,86,714 students who took the  Class 10 Board Exam, 95.22% passed. Dr. Yadav stated that the result of secondary (educational) regular candidates was 95.22 percent, while the result of self-study candidates was 88.73%. This year’s overall pass percentage of 95.22% represents a substantial improvement over last year’s pass percentage of 65.43%. The Board Chairman enthusiastically praised all of the students on their improved examination scores.

The Board Chairman stated that the relevant schools/institutions can receive the results starting today evening by visiting the Board’s website and logging in using their user ID and password. If a school fails to get the results on time, it will be held liable.

This year Girls did well in the Haryana Board class 10 Exam. This year, A total of 137,167 students took the Secondary (Educational) regular test out of 132,119 (or 96.32%) passed. On the other hand, 140,896 out of 149,547 boys (94.22%) passed the test. This leads to a 2.10 percentage point greater pass rate for girls over boys. The pass rate in this exam was 95.24 for students from rural areas and 95.18 for students from urban areas. In terms of the pass percentage, Panchkula was at the top.  whereas District Nuh was at the bottom.

In Category-wise distribution, candidates belonging to the General category achieved a pass percentage of 91.73%, with 4,871 qualifying out of 5,310, while those in the OBC category get 88.24% pass percentage, with 3,726 out of 4,226 passing. The SC category had a pass percentage of 85.54%, with 4,010 out of 4,703 candidates qualifying.

How girls performed in Haryana Class 10th results

Among the general candidates, out of 12,607 who appeared, 11,186 qualified, with a pass percentage of 88.73%, while boys achieved an 88.70% pass rate with 7,219 passing out of 8,135 candidates. For girls, the pass percentage was slightly higher at 88.77%, with 5,388 out of 6,083 qualifying.

In rural areas, out of 9,163 appeared, 8,044 qualified, resulting in an 87.79% pass percentage, whereas urban areas had a higher pass rate of 91.23%, with 3,444 passing out of 3,774 candidates.

Open School Pass Percentage

In the Secondary Open School (Fresh) test, 9,014 individuals appeared. Out of them, 2,128 were successful, with a pass rate of 23.61%. The pass percentage varied slightly depending on the examination category. Regular candidates passed at a rate of 22.37% (1,257 out of 5,620). Self-study candidates had a pass rate of 25.67% (871 out of 3,393 who appeared).

Haryana Board of Secondary Education 10th Class Result 2024 Revaluation

Students who are dissatisfied with their hbse 10th class 2024 scores may request a reassessment.
