CUET Subject List 2025 Updated

The National Testing Agency offers a single window via CUET UG for admitted students to more than 300+ participating universities countrywide. For the students who preparing for the same, choosing the correct subjects for CUET UG 2025 is very crucial. While submitting the subject preference in the CUET 2025 Application form, you need to select your subject on the basis of subject mapping based on your intended university and course requirements.

Recently, the Subject list for the CUET 2025 has shrunk by NTA. Previously, the CUET Subject list consisted of 33 languages (13 regional and 20 international). However, the UGC has deleted all foreign languages, reducing the total to thirteen. In addition, the number of domain subjects is lowered from 29 to 23.

As per the CUET UG Exam pattern, The CUET exam is broken into three parts: language, domain subjects, and general test. There are a total of 23 subjects, each with 250 marks. CUET Domain Subject List 2025

For the CUET Section II, students have the option to choose a list of 23 Domain Subjects in CUET. As per the NTA guidelines, Students must select three or four CUET domain subjects from a list of 23 subjects. If you select GAT, you will be able to select only two domain subjects in CUET, as well as a language test and possibly a general test, depending on the university and course requirements.
