How Many Times CLAT Exam is Conducted in a Year?
The law students can take the CLAT 2026 once this year probably on December 7, 2025. In India, other than the NLUs, certain private colleges and self-financed law schools use CLAT scores to admit students. CLAT 2026 is conducted for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law degree programs.

Exam Pattern of CLAT

Syllabus of CLAT
The CLAT Syllabus 2026 contains the key topics for the exam. The prior year’s announcement from the exam conducting body indicates that the UG and PG programs’ syllabi differ. The CLAT PG syllabus is also built around comprehension-based questions. The descriptive portion was eliminated from the PG syllabus in accordance with the previous year’s announcement. How to Apply for CLAT Exam?
The CLAT Registration 2026 can only be completed online. The process is divided into four stages: online registration, form completion, document uploading, and fee payment. Follow the simple steps to complete the form.
Step 1: Go to the official website of CNLU, https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/.
Step 2: Click the “REGISTER” link to complete the CLAT registration procedure. (Provide your name and mobile number and create a password).
Step 3: Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number. This concludes the CLAT Application process.
Step 4: Log in to the application portal with your registered phone number and password.
Step 5: Fill out the application form with all of your correct information.
Step 6: Upload the required scanned pictures, papers, and signatures in the requested format.
Step 7: To conclude the CLAT application procedure, pay the cost using one of the available online payment methods.
