ITI Syllabus 2024: The National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) has released the ITI Syllabus 2024 for all trades offered under ITI. ITI trades include engineering trades such as electrician, fitter, draughtsman, and carpenter and non-engineering trades such as hair and skin care, metal cutting, sewing, and many more.

ITI Syllabus 2024

Knowing the ITI syllabus 2024 ahead of time aids in developing a well-defined strategy for scoring high marks, as it comprises topics on which questions will be asked in the semester examination. Candidates who are enrolled in any ITI trade should cover the whole ITI syllabus as soon as possible and then begin revising the topics as much as they can.

NCVT examinations include the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS), Apprentice Training Scheme (ATS), and All India Trade Test (AITT). Every year, the All India Training Test (AITT) and Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ATS) tests are held in July and August, respectively, while the Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) exams are administered in December.

NCVT ITI Syllabus 2024

The NCVT is a national governing body that governs all ITI institutes in the country, establishing the essential criteria and curriculum for craftsman training, holding All-India Tests, and awarding candidates with National Trade Certificates.

NCVT offers several trades under the ITI in engineering and non-engineering domains. All the courses at NCVT-affiliated ITI institutes have semester-based exams. A one-year course is divided into two semesters of six months each, while a two-year course is divided into four semesters of six months each.

The NCVT administers tests such as the All-India Trade Test (AITT), Apprenticeship Training Scheme (ATS), and Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS). After completing the ITI courses, the applicants earn NCVT certifications. NCVT Certificate is important since it indicates that the individual has completed the course. It creates opportunities for the candidates. The ITI trades have several applications in a variety of industries.

ITI Entrance Exam Syllabus

ITI Entrance Exam Pattern

Along with the IIT Syllabus, students must be well-versed in the ITI Exam pattern.  According to the recently amended ITI exam pattern,  ITI tests will be conducted in two formats, one practical exam and the other CBT exam. The practical test will be the same as before, and the CBT exam will consist of a single paper that lasts for one hour.

The ITI CBT examination includes 75 questions and 150 marks. The CBT Exam of ITI exam covers four subjects: Trade Theory, Workshop Calculation Science, Engineering Drawing, and Employability Skills.
