JCECE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The age and educational qualification of different courses under JCECE 2023 are discussed below.

Agriculture (Honours)	At the time of admission, candidates must be at least 17 years old and no older than 22 years old. There will be a 5% age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC.	Qualifications: The candidate must have completed the 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognized board. Subjects: Candidates must pass Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology as obligatory subjects.
B.Tech (Dairy Technology)	Candidates must be between the ages of 17 and 22 on July 1, 2023.	The candidate must have a 12th-grade diploma from a recognized board. Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are required for all candidates. Entrance Exam: Candidates must have a valid JEE Main 2023 scorecard.
A.H. and B.V. Sc.	The applicant’s age must be between 17 and 25 years old and born before December 31st of the year of admission, i.e. 31.12.2023.	The candidate must have completed the 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognized board. Subjects: The candidate must pass mandatory subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, and English.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture	The applicant’s age should be between 17 and 22 years old on July 1st of the admission year, i.e. 01.07.2023.	Applicants must have taken their Intermediate or equivalent exam from a recognised Board/University with PCB, PCMB, PCM, PC Forestry, or Inter (Agriculture) (P- Physics, C- Chemistry, M-Mathematics, B-Biology).
Bachelor of Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.)	The applicant’s age should be between 17 and 22 years old on July 1st of the admission year, i.e. 01.07.2023.	Students must have completed their Intermediate or equivalent test from a recognised Board/University with PCMB/PCB/Inter (Agriculture) (P, C, M, and B stand for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology).

JCECE 2023 Exam Pattern

Candidates who are planning to take the JCECE exam this year can view the JCECE 2023 exam pattern below.

The exam will be administered in an offline format.
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be included in the paper.
The paper will be written in both English and Hindi.
One point will be awarded for each correct answer, and a 1/4th point will be deducted for each erroneous response.
Total Marks: The paper will be worth 150 points.
The exam will last two hours and thirty minutes (2 hrs 30 mins).
