JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2025 for Paper 1 and 2

Understanding the JEE Advanced exam pattern is necessary for candidates to start their preparation. According to the JEE Advanced 2025 paper pattern, the exam will be held online. There will be two papers compulsory papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2. JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2025

The JEE Advanced exam pattern 2025 includes the types of questions, paper mode, test duration, JEE Advanced total marks 2025, and marking scheme. Candidates must be familiar with the JEE Advanced syllabus in addition to the exam pattern. Candidates can review some details here-

  • Exam Mode: The exam will ONLY be administered via computer-based testing (CBT).
  • Total Paper: JEE (Advanced) 2025 will consist of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers are compulsory.
  • Number of sections: Each question paper will be divided into three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
  • Medium: English and Hindi are the two languages used.
  • Duration: The total duration is 6 hours. Candidates will be given three hours to complete each paper.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2025: General Instructions

The following are the general guidelines for the various components of the computer-based JEE 2025 exam:

  • Students must use the password that has been issued to them to log into the exam.
  • To begin the exam, candidates must first click “proceed” and then “Start” after logging in.
  • Throughout the exam, the keyboard will not be functional.
  • Candidates will only provide their responses using the “mouse.”
  • In the event that a problem occurs during the exam, the candidates will receive another computer.
  • In order for the candidates to know the precise time they log in and out, computers will produce an automatic clock.
  • Candidates can select a different exam language by clicking on the “profile” button located in the upper left corner.
