IIT Madras successfully held the IIT JEE Advanced 2024 exam on May 26, 2024. Now, the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, has released the JEE Advanced official answer key 2024. The official answers for both the Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2024 has been released online on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the IIT JEE 2024 exam on the last Sunday of May can check the provisional answers and calculate their expected marks.

JEE Advanced Official Answer Key 2024

IIT Madras published the JEE Advanced 2024 official answer key on June 02, 2024 online. Before that, the top coaching institutes had released their unofficial solutions for both exam papers. Currently, the provisional answer key has been issued and feedback from the students have been sought. Based on the objections received, IIT Madras can alter the final response key that will be issued along with the result. The final marks are awarded in the exam on the basis of the final answer key.

JEE Advanced 2024 Candidate Responses

IIT Madras has earlier issued the JEE Advanced candidate response sheet 2024 on the official website on May 31, 2024. The candidate recorded responses in their online OMR sheet has been made available for the students who took the test. Candidates can use their OMR response sheet and the provisional responses to derive their JEE Advanced marks 2024.

For JEE Advanced 2024, around 1.91 lakh students have registered. 1.91 lakh people have registered as of this writing, up from 1.89 lakh the previous year, and more are predicted. According to JEE Advanced records going back 11 years, this number is the highest. 2013 saw 126,749 registrations; 2014 saw 126,995; 2015 saw 124,741; 2016 saw 155,797; 2017 saw 171,814; 2018 saw 165,656; 2019 saw 174,432; 2020 saw 160,838; 2021 saw 151,193; 2022 saw 160,038; and 2023 saw 189,744 registrations.

Along with the release of the answer key, IIT Madras also released the crucial dates to raise objections and provide feedback against the provisional responses. Students can challenge the preliminary response key up to 5 PM on June 03, 2024. After reviewing the feedback, IIT Madras will update the test’s final answer key if it is determined that they are valid. The final solutions will be issued on June 09, 2024.
