Mathematics: The overall difficulty of mathematics was average. According to the responses we received, it was 40% easy, 40% moderate, and 20% difficult. Thus, we can conclude that it was feasible for those who adequately prepared for the test.

As per experts, the JEE Main exam held in the morning session of January 22 was of easy to moderate difficulty.

  • The chemistry curriculum was well-balanced, featuring nearly equal representation of physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry subjects. A large part of the chemistry content was consistent with NCERT, and questions were not derived from the omitted subjects in the NCERT curriculum.
  • In physics, a question about the potentiometer appeared, although it’s from a removed topic and was nonetheless included in the exam. A mixed question was present that combined unit dimensions and magnetism, suggesting that there was some blending of concepts within the physics questions.
  • In mathematics, there were 3-4 questions on vectors and 3D geometry, as well as 6-7 questions on calculus. “The maths section was lengthier than challenging.” In general, the document resembled those from earlier years,” the expert stated.
