JEE Mains Application Form 2025, Registration Process, Eligibility, Documents Required

The National Testing Agency has closed the Online Registration JEE Mains 2025 Session 1.  All the eligible students who are not filling out the JEE Mains Application Form 2025 yet must do so by visiting the NTA JEE Main official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who registered themselves successfully can now edit their application form and make necessary changes till November 28, 2024.

Students complete the JEE Mains online form, by uploading the required documents, and paying the application cost before the registration deadline. JEE Mains Application Form 2025

JEE Mains Application Form 2025 for Session 1 was released on the NTA’s official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who passed or are taking the class 12 test are eligible to apply for the NTA Joint Entrance test (Main). The JEE Main 2025 registration procedure includes initial registration, filling out forms, uploading documents, and paying the JEE Main registration 2025 fees.

The last date to Apply for the JEE Mains Session 1 was November 22, 2024 (up to 9 PM). It should be noted that JEE Main registration will be open separately for Session 2. Candidates who wish to register for session 2 can do so when the NTA reopens registration later.

JEE Mains 2025 Registration Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the start of the application process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 Session 1, inviting candidates to take one of the country’s s most prestigious engineering entrance exams. According to the JEE Mains 2025 Exam dates, the first session of JEE Main 2025 will take place from January 22 to January 31, 2025, in a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) format. To appear in the exam, candidates must successfully register and submit the JEE Mains application form with the prescribed fee before the deadline. As per the timetable, aspiring students who are eligible to take the exam can fill up the JEE Mains Application form 2025 by going to the JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Mains 2025 Application Form Correction Window

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the announcement for the JEE Main 2025 application correction window. Registered applicants can make changes to their submitted JEE Main application forms on November 26 and 27, 2024. This one-time opportunity enables candidates to remedy inaccuracies in specific portions of their applications. Candidates must follow these methods to correct the JEE Main 2025 Application Form.

  1. Visit the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link to the JEE Main 2025 Correction Window.
  3. Log in with your JEE Main application number and password.
  4. The JEE Main 2025 application form will be displayed on your screen.
  5. Select the fields you wish to edit and make the necessary changes.
  6. Click the “Save” button to apply the changes.
  7. After finishing the revisions, save and print a copy of the amended JEE Main 2025 application form for your reference.

JEE Mains 2025 Registration Form Filling Process

NTA JEE Mains application process includes several stages. Let’s take a quick look at the steps

  • Before filling out the form, students must register at the NTA’s official website using their email address and other information. During the registration procedure, candidates will select their chosen means of identification, which might be an Aadhar enrollment number, PAN, passport, or ABC ID. After filling out the registration form and submitting it, candidates will obtain a unique JEE Main registration number and password via email and mobile.
  • To access the JEE Main 2025 application form, candidates must verify their identity with registration credentials issued to both their registered mobile number and email address. Next, candidates must fill out the application form. In addition, customers must upload digital versions of their required documents and images
  • Finally, candidates must pay the JEE Main 2025 application Fee using a variety of payment methods, including Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. Important Instruction about PASSWORD:

The Application Number printed on the computer-generated Confirmation Page must be mentioned in all such correspondences. It is therefore essential to note down the application number printed on the Confirmation Page. During online form filling,the candidate will be required to choose PASSWORD and Security Question and its Answer. The candidate is advised to record/remember his/her password for all future logins.

For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with his/her respective system- generated Application Number and the chosen Password. The candidate is advised not to disclose or share his/her password with anybody. Neither NTA nor NIC will be responsible for the violation or misuse of the password of a candidate. Candidates can change their passwords after login if desired.

Documents Required for JEE Mains Registration 2025

Students can discover a comprehensive list of documents along with the specifications required for JEE Mains 2025 registration.

  • The recent passport size photograph should be in colour with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background. Photograph should be named as ‘Photograph’ and in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 300 kb.
  • Signature file should be named as ‘Signature’ and in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 50 kb.
  • Scanned copy of Class X or Equivalent Certificate/Marks-sheet should be named as ‘Class-X Certificate’ and should be a pdf between 10 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).
  • Scanned copy of PwD/PwBD certificate should be named as ‘Disability Certificate’ and should be a pdf between 10 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).

Guidelines for Uploading Documents

The following points should be kept in mind while uploading the documents.

  • A color or black and white photo should be chosen, depending on which the viewer finds most appealing. Concerning the photograph’s features, candidates may wear spectacles. While headwear such as caps is prohibited, glasses such as sunglasses are not permitted.
  • Images that are too blurry will not be processed. The uploaded photo should be clear and in the right size and format as specified by the NTA in this guidance.
  • Probably the signature should be readily visible on the white paper. The size and format of the uploaded signature should meet the standard requirements.
  • Uploaded documents must be of the necessary size and format, as specified by the NTA.

JEE Application Form 2025 Fee

After completing registration and application form filling, the candidates have to pay the requisite examination fees. The fJE Mains Appplication Fees can be paid only through online mode using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card and UPI. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidates (in addition to the examination fees) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator. A candidate can apply for the Session-1 (January 2025) examination and pay the necessary fees as per their Candidates will be allowed to apply for Session 2 (April 2025) individually (using the same application number) and pay the fee, for which a separate notification will be sent.
