JEE Mains 2025 Exam City Intimation Slip

This year, the National Testing Agency will conduct the Joint Entrance Examinations -Mains 2025 will be divided into two sessions. The first session is slated to take place from January 22 to 31, 2025, with the second session taking place in April 2025. The NTA JEE Mains 2025 test will be computer-based, except for the Drawing component of Paper 2, which will be done on pen paper mode at the NTA-designated exam cities.

As a preparatory activity, the NTA issues the JEE Mains Adavance Exam City Intimation Slip 2025, which informs candidates of their exam city and the scheduled date for the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 in advance. It should also be noted that the JEE Mains admit card and the said document are different. With the JEE Main City Allotment letter, you will not permitted to enter the examination hall.

JEE Mains Advance Exam City Allotment Slip 2025- How to download?

It is informed to all the students that the advanced exam city slip will be available to download on the students’ dashboard at the NTA JEE official portal. Follow the below-mentioned steps in order to obtain it hassle-free.

Step 1: Visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Select the link marked “JEE Main 2025 Advanced Intimation of Examination City.”
Step 3: Upon clicking the link, a login page will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Log in using your application number, password, and date of birth.S
Step 5:  After logging in, your JEE Main exam city intimation slip will be presented.
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the same for future reference.

The JEE Mains Exam city intimation slip contains crucial information including the candidate’s name, application number, roll number, date of birth, and examination date. The Exam City Intimation Slip informs candidates of the name of the city where their examination center is located. This prior notice allows students to organize their travel and lodgings, ensuring they arrive at the exam site on time. It is crucial to note that this slip does not include the actual address of the exam center or any other exam specifics; such information will be provided on the official Jee mains admit card.

JEE Main Exam City Allotment 2025 – List of Cities

The NTA will administer the JEE Main exam in 300 Indian cities and 26 cities outside of India. When filling out the application form, candidates are given the option of selecting four exam cities. NTA will assign one JEE Main exam centre from the four options provided by the candidate. The following is a list of test cities and city codes for Indian candidates.

Can I Change Exam City in JEE Mains?

Registered applicants can only amend their previously selected exam cities using the online JEE Application Correction window. After the rectification window has closed, no modifications to the exam center will be permitted. Students are also not allowed to change their exam city after the publication of the JEE Mains Exam city slip.

The allocation of exam centers will be based on the candidates’ preferred exam cities and seat availability. The decision of the National Testing Agency (NTA) regarding exam center allocation shall be final. Candidates are informed about their exam city via the exam city allotement list around 10 days before the exam is held.
