Karnataka Half Yearly Exam Result 2024, SC Order to Hold Class 8, 9, 10 Results

The Supreme Court of India has banned the declaration of Karnataka Half Yearly Exam Result 2024 of Class 8, 9 and 10th classes. SC granted an interim order to prohibit the state of Karnataka from announcing the Karnataka exam results in 2024 of the semi-annual examinations in all districts till further notice.

The top court stated in the interim ruling that if Karnataka half-yearly exams for classes 8, 9, and 10 were not administered in any district, they would not be undertaken. The court has ordered the state administration to provide an affidavit detailing the examination in four weeks.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision, Madhu Bangarappa, the Minister of School Education and Literacy, declared on Friday, October 18, 2024, that the notification for the half-yearly exams had been withdrawn. This judgment effectively halted the process of administering and assessing these exams.

The high court allowed the Karnataka state to conduct board exams for various classes for the academic year 2023-24, It overturned a March 6 order by a single judge’s bench that had nullified the state government’s rule of October 2023 to hold board exams for various classes through the Karnataka State Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB). In the most recent session, the Supreme Court panel stated that no other state follows the same educational paradigm as the Karnataka government.

Meanwhile, the state administration told the court that a circular for conducting board exams for pupils in grades 5, 8, 9, and 10 during the current academic year in seven rural areas of the state had been removed. The top court was informed that examinations were also conducted in 24 other districts, according to PTI.

Step 2: Click on the 8th, 9th, or 10th class Result Roll Number and Wise Name Wise Link.
Step 3: To access the results page, enter your roll/hall ticket number and submit. Check your SA marks and status, and print a physical copy.
