KCET 2024 Registration Window Reopens, Check Exam Date, Eligibility

The Karnataka Examination Authority has reopened the KCET 2024 registration window. The KEA activated the KCET 2024 application form from 11 Am on 30th March 2024 to 4 PM on April 1, 2024. The KCET 2024 registration has started online from 10 January 2024. The KCET 2024 Exam will be conducted on 18 and 19 April 2024. The KCET 2024 application form link is available online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KCET 2024

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) oversees the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, or KCET. It is held in order to admit students to professional programs such as Veterinary courses, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture (Farm Science), and Engineering Technology. The KCET exam offers admission to various medical and engineering colleges offering the above-mentioned courses in the Karnataka state. The exam is held once every year.

Candidates must pass the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) in order to be considered for admission to programs in medicine, dentistry, ayurveda, Unani, or homoeopathy. In contrast, candidates who want to enroll in KCET’s architecture program must have passed either NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. Candidates who qualify the KCET exam will have to sit for the counselling process of the KCET to get admitted at one of the participating colleges.

KCET 2024 Exam: Highlights

Every year more than 2.5 lakh engineering and medical aspirants for the KCET exam. This year too, the KCET 2024 is expected to witness more than 2.5 lakh aspiring candidates. The KCET 2024 exam is a state-level exam held annually in offline mode. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers the KCET exam every year. KCET 2024 Exam Date

The KCET 2024 exam date has been officially announced by the Karnataka examination Authority(KEA). The KCET 2024 exam will be held on April 18 and April 19, 2024. The KEA revised the exam dates from the earlier dates of 20 and 21 April. The exam dates were revised due to its clash with the NDA exam on 21st April. The examination on these two days will be held in two shifts: Morning shift and Afternoon shift.

The KCET 2024 Biology and Mathematics Exam will be held on 18th of April 2024 in two sessions. The biology exam will be held in the morning session while the Mathematics exam will be held in the afternoon session. The Kannada language test (for Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidates) will be held on 20th April 2024 from 11:30 to 12:30 PM.

The KCET 2024 Physics and Chemistry exam will be held on 19th April 2024 in two shifts. The physics exam of the KCET 2024 will be held in the morning session while the KCET 2024 chemistry exam paper will be held in the afternoon shift on 19 April 2024. KCET 2024 Registration Date

As per the official announcement, the KCET 2024 registration has started on January 10, 2024. The KCET 2024 application form has been made available on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Eligible and aspiring candidates can now register and fill out the application form for the KCET 2024 only through the official website. As per the latest official notice of the KEA, “Candidates who have not registered with KEA, can register and apply online up to 11.59 pm on 20-02-2024 and pay the fees up to 5.30 pm on 23-02-2024 for CET 2024. For the welfare of student community, dates have been extended for CET 2024 which is scheduled on 18-04-2024 and 19-04-2024”.

It must be noted that candidates will have to register and fill out the KCET 2024 application form only through the official website. Application form received through any other mode will be rejected. For this, the registration must be done on the official website. KCET Application Form 2024

The KEA has released the KCET 2024 application form on its official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Earlier, the KCET 2024 registration date was from 10th January 2024 to 16th March 2024. The KEA activated the KECT 2024 registration process at 11 AM on 30th March 2024. Now the KCET 2024 registration last date is April 1 2024 up to 4 PM. The KCET 2024 application fee can be paid through the online portal up to 16th March 2024.

Candidates who will be registering for the KECT exam 2024 during application reactivation period will only get to choose Bangalore as their exam center. The KCET 2024 registration will take place in online mode. The KCET 2024 registration link is active on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KCET Application Form 2024 Last Date

The KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) has extended the KCET 2024 application form last date. The last date to fill out the KCET 2024 application form is now April 1, 2024. The application form submission has been reopened for one day after several requests from students. Candidates will be able to pay their application form fee for the KCET exam 2024 up to April 1 now. Candidates will have to pay the application fees by 4:00 PM on the 1st of April 2024.

How to Apply for KCET 2024

Applicants should be aware that failure to follow the guidelines on the KCET 2024 application form will result in disqualification. Candidates who are eager to apply for the KCET 2024 exam can do so by following the simple steps outlined below.

KCET 2024 Eligibility

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements established by the Karnataka Examinations Authority in order to be eligible for the KCET 2024. Before completing the application, candidates are urged to review the KCET qualifying requirements 2024. A candidate’s candidature will be canceled if it is determined that they are ineligible at any point during the admissions process. The eligibility criteria is mentioned below.

Qualification: Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC / class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics mandatory subjects. Candidates must have studied biology to appear for the medical exam of KCET 2024.

Additional Subjects: Apart from compulsory subjects, candidates must have optional subjects among – Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronic with a language subject English.

Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in the 2nd PUC/Class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible

Age Limit: The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years. There is no upper age limit

Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian citizen

Domicile: Candidates must have a domicile of Karnataka or should have studied and passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) from an educational institution located in Karnataka. Non-Karnataka candidates are also eligible under certain categories.

KCET 2024 Application Fees

KCET 2024 Exam pattern

The KCET 2024 exam will be held in pen and paper mode. The exam will consist of three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. The KCET 2024 exam will contains 60 questions from each section. The time limit for each section is 80 minutes. Each question will fetch one marks.
