The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has revealed the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2024, which took place on April 18th and 19th, 2024, at 737 exam locations in the state. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test results 2024 are now available on the KEA’s official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Of the 3,49,653 candidates who took the exam, 310,314 were successful, comprising 139,274 boys and 171,040 girls. The authority has disclosed the KCET toppers 2024 along with the results. Harsha Karthikeya Vutukuri in Engineering Stream whereas Nihaar S R in BYNS streams bagged the 1st position in the KCET Exam 2024.

Karnataka CET result 2024  includes subject-wise scores, overall scores, and rank in the KCET exam. Candidates who pass the KCET exam and appear on the KCET rank list are eligible for admission to Karnataka’s engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, and architecture colleges. Karnataka CET Exam Result 2024 Statistics

The KEA officials announce the Karnataka CET Exam statistics alongside the results. This year, 349,653 applicants registered for the examination including 154,869 boys and 194,784 girls. Last year, 2.6 lakh applicants enrolled for the Karnataka UGCET Exam, of which 2.5 lakh took the test. Of the registered candidates, 1.4 lakh were girls and 1.21 lakh were boys.

KCET Exam Statistics of Engineering Courses

In the Engineering streams, A total of  274,595 candidates are qualified, including 125,830 boys and 148,765 girls who correspond to the requirements for admission. In B.Sc. Agriculture, 215,965 candidates are qualified, including 88,931 boys and 129,996 girls. The BVSc. program has 219,887 eligible students, including 89,891 boys and 129,996 girls.

KCET Exam Statistics in BNYS category

There are 219,483 qualified candidates for the BNYS category, with 89,703 males and 129,780 females. In B. Pharma and Pharma-D courses, 278,919 and 279,313 individuals qualified for ranking, with a significant gender distribution. There are 228,058 qualified candidates for B.Sc. Nursing, including 92,194 boys and 135,864 girls.

KCET 2024 Result: Tie Breaking Policy

The KEA used a tie-breaking procedure for the resolution in the event that two applicants in the KCET 2024 receive identical scores. The rules used by the KEA to arrive at a conclusion is given below.

• The grades earned in mathematics and biology will be taken into account for BTech programs.
• The applicants’ scores in chemistry and physics will be taken into consideration if the tie continues. BTech programs in addition to others.
