The results for the same have been announced in online mode The exam was conducted online in 133 centers, including Dubai, Delhi, and Mumbai, via a computer-based test (CBT). KEAM Tie Breaking Policy 2024

It is very much possible that two or more students score the same mark in the KEAM exam. Such a circumstance is known as a tie. In the event that the KEAM 2024 rank list contains ties, the following guidelines will be followed to determine the tie:

Tie Breaking Procedure for KEAM Engineering

If there is a tie in the total index marks that are determined by combining the total entrance test normalized score and the total standardized score for engineering rank preparation, then

• The candidates who obtain a better pre-normalized score in KEAM’s Mathematics subject will be ranked higher.
• The candidate with the higher pre-normalized Physics score on the KEAM Entrance Exam shall be ranked higher if there is still a tie.
• A candidate with better standardized marks in Mathematics from the last year of the qualifying exam will be ranked higher if there is still a tie.
• In the event of a tie, the candidate who received higher standardized marks in Physics during the qualifying exam’s final year will be ranked higher.
• In the event that a tie cannot be broken, consideration will be given to the applicant who correctly answered more questions in mathematics.
• The candidate with the right higher number of Physics responses will be taken into consideration if the tie continues.
• In the event that there is still a tie, the candidate with the greater age will be ranked higher.
• Should there still be a tie, CEE’s judgment will be final.

KEAM 2024 Architecture Tie Breaking Rule

If the total marks calculated out of 400 are tied, then

• Candidates who score higher on the “NATA” test will be ranked higher.
• Candidates who scored higher in mathematics on the qualifying exam will be ranked higher if there is still a tie.
• In the event of a tie, the older candidate will be ranked higher when their age is taken into consideration.

BPharma Rank List Tie Breaking Rule

If the total normalized marks calculated for creating the BPharma rank list are tied, then

• The applicant ranked higher will be the one with the higher pre-normalized Chemistry score on the KEAM Entrance Exam.
• In the event that the tie cannot be broken, the candidate with the higher pre-normalized Physics score on the KEAM Entrance Exam shall be ranked higher.
• The applicant who correctly answered more questions in Chemistry on the KEAM Entrance Exam will be taken into consideration if the tie is still unresolved.
• The applicant who correctly provides the greater number of answers in Physics will be taken into consideration if the tie continues.
