MAH CET Merit List 2024

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell first releases the MAH CET provisional merit list 2024 for the B.BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM/MBA (Integrated)/MCA (Integrated) programmes. After its release, students can file grievances about the MAH CET provisional merit list from September 18 to September 20, 2024.

Students must use their login to make concerns about necessary revisions to the data published in the preliminary merit list. The status of acceptance/rejection of the grievance submitted by the candidate will be available in the candidate’s Login, along with the most recent receipt cum acknowledgment. After the process is completed, the final merit list for MAH CET counselling will be issued on September 22.

Tie-breaking Rules in MHT CET 2024 Merit List

The authorities apply a tie-breaking rule when two or more candidates score the same marks in the exam. Candidates can view the tie-breaking rules for the MHT CET 2024 merit list below.

  • In the event of a tie, candidates with superior Mathematics scores in MHT CET 2024 will receive a higher ranking.
  • If there is a tie, candidates with higher Physics scores in MHT CET 2024 will be ranked higher.
    If a tie remains, candidates with higher Chemistry scores in MHT CET 2024 will be ranked higher.
  • If a tie remains, candidates with a higher proportion of marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry combined will receive a higher MHT CET rank.
  • If a tie persists, candidates with a higher proportion of marks in Mathematics in the 10+2 (or equivalent) test will be ranked higher.
  • If a tie remains, students with a higher proportion of Physics marks in the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination will receive a higher MHT CET rank.
  • If all the aforementioned clauses are met, candidates with a greater percentage of marks in Chemistry in the 10+2 (or equivalent) test will be given a better rank.
