The Maharashtra NET UG Round 1 seat allotment result 2024 has been released by the State CET Cell after the registration and choice filling process has been concluded. The Maharashtra NEET UG round 1 seat allotment result release date was extended to August 31. Earlier it was scheduled to be released on August 30 but the CET Cell has decided to extend the choice filling process until 5 PM on August 30 due to which the seat allotment result was postponed.

Maharashtra CAP Round 2024 Date for Round 1

The officials have released all the dates regarding the Maharashtra NEET UG round 1 seat allotment. The Maharashtra NEET 2024 Counselling Round 1 Choice Filling for MBBS and BDS began on August 27 and ended on August 29, 2024 at 6 PM. Candidates will have to report to the allocated institute from September 01 to September 05 for admission process of round 1.

Candidates can download the NEET UG seat allotment 2024 result from the official website by following the steps mentioned hereunder.

Step 1: Go to the official website at medical2024.mahacet.org.

Step 2: Navigate to the CAP tab on the home page and proceed to the CAP 2024-2025 page.

Step 3: Access the link for NEET UG 2024.

Step 4: Select the link for the Maharashtra NEET round 1 allocation result.

Step 5: On clicking that link, a new login page will appear. Enter the necessary login details and proceed with the submit button.

Step 6: The Maharashtra NEET UG sear allotment result will be shown to you on the screen. Verify the result of the seat allotment for round 1 of the Maharashtra NEET UG.

Maharashtra NEET UG Seat Allotment Result 2024 Merit List

The round 1 provisional merit list of deserving candidates for Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2024 was published on August 26. The round 1 merit list includes the names of 55,781 candidates. It is worth noting that 2,82,051 applicants from Maharashtra applied for NEET UG 2024, with 2,75,442 taking the exam and 1,42,829 passing.

Following the release of the merit list for CAP round 1, candidates were instructed to indicate their preferences for MBBS and BDS seats. The process began on August 27 and concluded on August 29 at 6 pm. Through the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2024, 85% of seats in the state medical and dental colleges will be filled. There are around 9000 seats in MBBS in Maharashtra and around 3,526 BDS seats.

Candidates must personally appear at the specified institute and deliver the required documents and fee to reserve their seats between September 1 and 5, 2024 (until 5:30 pm) after receiving their seat assignments. Candidates should make sure to bring photocopies of all required documents along with the originals. Please be aware that the entrance fee has to be paid via Demand Draft or cheque.

Moreover, the check will be substituted with a demand draft the following business day. If a candidate is unhappy with the seat allocation, they can ask for upward movement in the next CAP rounds.
