What is MAT Exam?
The All India Management Association administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), a national MBA entrance test (AIMA). Multiple sessions of MAT are held in February, May, September, and December. The only MBA admission exam in India that offers applicants the option of three different test modes—Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT), and Internet Based Test (IBT)—is the MAT.
Language comprehension, data analysis and sufficiency and mathematical skills, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment, and mathematical skills are the five disciplines covered in the MAT question paper. There are 200 questions in all. The MAT question are of the Objective Types.

AIMA has released the MAT 2024 Feb exam date. The February session exam of the MAT 2024 will be held on different dates for different exam modes. The MAT 2024 Feb session exam will begin on 24 February 2024 for the IBT mode. The MAT 2024 Feb exam last date is 10 March 2024. The last exam mode of the MAT 2024 Feb session exam is CBT mode. The MAT 2024 application form is now available on the official website of AIMA. Candidates who want to apply for MAT 2024 can follow the steps outlined below to apply for the MAT exam.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the MAT exam 2024 at https://mat.aima.in/.
Step 2: On the home page, fill out the relevant information in the given box for registration
Step 3: To register , enter the valid email address and a working mobile number and click on the Register button
Step 4: To fill out the MAT 2024 application form, log in using the provided information.
Step 5: To finish the application process, fill out the exam mode, test city options, payment method, and other relevant information.
Step 6: Upload the scanned papers in the prescribed format, such as a current color photo and a signature in black pen on white paper.
Step 7: Complete the information about yourself, your experiences and credentials, and your preferences for management institutes (MI).
Step 8: Click on the “Submit” button to submit your MAT 2024 application form.
Step 9: Print a copy of the completed application form for future processes.

MAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants who wish to appear for the MAT 2024 exam must satisfy its eligibility criteria. Only those candidates will be allowed to apply for the MAT exam who fulfills the eligibility criteria laid out by the AIMA (All India Management Association). The MAT 2024 eligibility criteria is given below.
- Qualification: Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university by the India government. Candidates with professional degree like CA, CS, ICWA, etc., are also eligible to apply for the MAT exam.
- Number of Attempts: There will be no such limit specified to appear in the exam.
- Age Limit: To appear in the MAT exam, there is no specific age limit prescribed.
- Appearing: Those appearing candidates in the final exam are also be eligible to apply for the exam.

AIMA will soon release the form dates for the other three sessions of the MAT exam. Applicants who want to appear in the MAT 2024 exam will have to submit their candidature by depositing the MAT 2024 registration fees. The MAT 2024 registration fees is Rs 2100 for 1 exam paper and Rs 3300 for 2 exam papers. Students will be able to appear in at most 2 exam paper of the MAT exam in a single session. MAT 2024 Exam Pattern
The MAT exam is conducted on different exam centers across India in different modes. The MAT 2024 exam is conducted in three different modes: IBT (Internet Based Test), PBT (Paper Based Test), and CBT (Computer Based Test). MAT 2024 Exam Marks Distribution
The MAT 2024 exam marks is evenly distributed across its five sections. The number of questions and the number of marks allocated for each section is same. As the MAT exam consists of 200 MCQs (multiple choice questions), each sections amount for 40 questions. However, it is important to note that the marks of the Indian & Global Environment section is not included while calculating the MAT 2024 percentile.
