MAT Exam Date 2025

The MAT exam 2025 will be administered in March, May, September, and December 2025. The MAT or Management Aptitude Test 2025 is administered in 7 different modes. The MAT entrance exam is conducted 4 times a year for PG management exams such as MBA and PGDM programmes. More than 800 business schools in India accept MAT scores. What are the Application Fees for MAT?

  • Exam fees for a single PBT, CBT, or IBT are INR 2100
  • For double PBT + CBT, PBT + IBT, IBT+IBT, or CBT + IBT, the fee is INR 3600.

MAT Cut off 2025 (Expected)

The MAT cut-off 2025 is the minimal score required for selection to the group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) rounds. Candidates should be aware that the cut-off of the MAT Exam is established by individual institutes, and AIMA has no role in this process. The table below shows the expected MAT exam cut-offs –

Note – MAT cutoffs are typically lower than those for other MBA entry tests such as CAT, XAT, and CMAT.

MAT Exam Preparation 2025

The MAT preparation method should be based on the exam phase (CBT/PBT/IBT) you select. If a candidate has previously taken a national-level MBA entrance test, they can easily pass MAT because the syllabus is comparable to those of other exams. Here are some crucial tips to prepare for the MAT exam 2025 –

Focus on Basics – MAT preparation can be completed in 2 months if candidates focus on the fundamentals.

Books and Other Resources – Read the best study materials for MAT exam preparation, which cover the entire exam course.

Follow 80/20 rules – To do the preparation in the remaining time, focus on topics with the highest weightage in each part.

Prioritize Practice – Practice the previous year’s MAT question papers, sample papers, and online mock tests to enhance speed and accuracy, it will also help in becoming familiar with the examination pattern. They should work on increasing their thinking and problem-solving abilities.
