In a recent notification dated December 20. the Meghalaya education board has rescheduled the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has rescheduled the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) board exam dates for several subjects in 2025 due to forthcoming elections in the state.

As per the notice, the Meghalaya state government has announced that elections for the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) and Jaintia Hills Autonomous District Council (JHADC) will take place on February 21, with counting beginning on February 24. • MBOSE HSSLC revised exam date 2025: The Meghalaya Board Class 12 Exams dates for physics, sociology, and vocational courses are revised and will now take place in March, rather than February. The physics, sociology, and vocational subjects exams will take place on March 6, 18, and 19, respectively. Vocational subjects include poultry farming and Computer Technique IV scheduled for February 21 will be held on March 19, 2025.
• MBOSE SSLC Revised Board Exam Date 2025 – The annual Meghalaya Board Class 10 mathematics and special mathematics exam has been rescheduled for February 25 instead of February 21.

MBOSE SSLC Routine 2025

MBOSE Class 10,12 Exam Timings

The MBOSE Date Sheet 2025 has been issued along with the announcement of examination timings. As the notice states, the exams will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. for all theory examinations in the 10th and 12th classes. Students must arrive at their examination centers by 9:30 a.m., after which the respective examiners will distribute their question papers at 9:45 a.m., giving them 5 minutes for question paper reading, followed by the answer scripts at 9:50 a.m., giving them 10 minutes to complete all formalities before the start of the exam at 10 a.m.
