MHCET Law 2025

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, administers the Maharashtra Law Common Entrance Test, or MH CET Law. The purpose of the exam is to grant admission to law programs (3 and 5 year). Every year, this admission exam is held at the state level. Admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs is available at MH CET Law. In the state of Maharashtra, admission to a variety of private and public law colleges will be granted to qualified individuals.

Candidates will be able to apply for admission to one of the 10,920 seats available in the 5-year LLB program at one of the 147 universities, or one of the 16, 420 seats available in the 3-year LLB program. There will be questions on general knowledge, current events, legal reasoning, English, and math in the MH CET Law 2025 exam paper. The MHCET Law 2025 exam paper will contain objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions).

MHCET Law 2025 Exam Date

As per the released MHCET Law 2025 Exam Date,  The MH CET 5-year LLB 2023 exam will be held on a single day on April 04, 2025. In addition, the MH CET 3-year LLB exam will be held in multiple slots on March 20 and 21, 2025. These dates are tentative and can vary. MHCET Law 2025 Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the MHCET law 2025 3-year LLB and MH CET 5-year LLB is given below.

5-year LLB Entrance Exam 2025: According to the official notification, those who are eligible to seek admission into MH CET LLB must have passed Class 12th or any equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized university or institution. A minimum of 40% is necessary for the reserved categories.

3-year LLB Entrance Exam 2025: For the three-year LLB program, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserve category candidates) from a recognized university.

MHCET Law 2025 Exam Pattern

The MHCET Law 2025 Exam will be administered online (CBT) in both English and Marathi language. The MHCET Law 2025 test will consist of 150 objective-type questions, each worth one mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong responses. The examination will last two hours. There will be five sections to the paper. MHT CET Law CAP Counselling

The MH CET Law counseling will be organized by the State CET cell through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). The CAP counseling will take place over several rounds. Admissions will be granted to students based on their merit ranks. The MH CET Law CAP rounds for 2025 will be held exclusively in an online format. Candidates must first register for the counselling process. Following the registration, candidates will need to undergo the document verification procedure. Those who are allocated seats during the counselling sessions will need to pay the admission fee to secure their seats.
