The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) Maharashtra has changed the MHT CET 2025 Exam Dates (Maharashtra Common Eligibility Test) and published the new MHT CET Exam Schedule on January 8, 2025. All the eligible students who want to get admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses through the MHT CET exam must fill out the registration form at cetcell.mahacet.org.
As per the announced date, the last date to complete the MHT CET 2025 registration is February 15, 2025. Candidates can apply until February 22 and pay a late charge of ₹500. MHT CET 2025 Exam Date
MHT CET 2025 Exam Dates are changed for a few MAH-MBA CET exams in their latest notification.
- As per the announcement, the revised MAH CET starting exam date is March 19, 2025, and will end on May 2, 2025.
- The MHT CET PCM 2025 will take place from April 19 to 27, 2025 (excluding April 24), while the PCB test will start on April 9 to April 17, 2025 (excluding April 10–14).
MHT CET 2025 Exam Schedule (New)
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) Cell has announced the exam dates for 11 admission tests for various degrees, including engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, nursing, and law. These exams are required for admission to several undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered by the Department of Higher and Technical Education in the state of Maharastra. MHT CET Registration 2025
Maharashtra CET Cel has started the registration process has been started from December 30. Candidates who meet the requirements can register for the MHT CET 2025 at cetcell.mahacet.org. This process includes several steps such as registration, filling out the application form, and documents, and paying the application fee.
As per the information booklet, the MHT CET 2025 registration fee is Rs 1,000 for general category applicants. Candidates from Backward Classes (BC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) must pay Rs 800 to register for the exam, Students who are willing to get admission into Maharashtra State colleges through CET can download the informataion brochure pdf from the official website i.e. cetcell.mahacet.org.
MHT CET 2025 Registration Dates
The MHT CET 2025 Registration dates are announced by the concerned authority in the recently published information brochure, As per it the MHT CET application form’s last date is February 25, 2025 (with late fee, it is February 22, 2024. MHT CET 2025
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, often known as MHT CET, is a state-level entrance exam used to select applicants for undergraduate engineering and pharmacy programs in colleges across Maharashtra. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the exam every year. Candidates who pass the exam are eligible for admission to many institutes around the state.
The MHT CET Syllabus is based on the Maharashtra HSC board’s syllabus for classes 11 and 12. The syllabus has a weightage of around 20% and 80% for Class 11th and 12th, respectively. Candidates who got 50% or more on their class 12 test are eligible to apply for the MHT CET exam.
The MHT CET 2025 Exam will consist of three sections/papers of 100 marks each: Paper 1 of Mathematics, Paper 2 of Physics and Chemistry combined, and Paper 3 of Biology. Candidates interested in pursuing an engineering degree should take Papers 1 and 2. Aspiring pharmacy students should take Papers 2 and 3.

Eligibility for MHT CET Exam 2025
Fulfilling the eligibility requirements set by the exam conducting body is the first step to get into the process. The MHT CET 2025 Eligibilty criteria vary from course to course. Interested students who plan to appear in the upcoming CET Session must carefully check the eligibility requirements before moving to the application process. To take the MHT CET 2025 exam, candidates must meet the general eligibility restrictions and candidate-type criteria listed below.
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals.
- Total attempt: There is now Limit in attempts
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates.
- Qualifying marks: To be eligible for MHT CET, candidates must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a certified university or board. Candidates with a minimum MHT CET passing mark of PCB are eligible to apply for the qualifying examination. To qualify for MHT CET, candidates must have a minimum passing grade of 45% and a 12th percentile in their qualifying exam.
- Domicile requirements: Applicants must live in Maharashtra. Candidates from different states are also eligible. Check out the detailed domicile requirements mentioned below.

For Maharashtra State Candidates | Candidates must have passed class 12 or appear in class 12 in 2025 and must take Physics and Mathematics as obligatory subjects, as well as any one topic from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. The candidate must earn at least 45% in class 12. Candidates from the backward class, Economically Weaker Section, and Persons with Disability category should acquire at least 40% marks in class 12. |
Non-Maharashtra Candidates | Candidates who are not from Maharashtra are also eligible to take the MHT CET. Non-Maharashtra candidates can also apply for BTech admission through JEE Main. MHT CET reservation policies do not apply to candidates who are not from Maharashtra. |
OCI/PIO/NRI Candidates | OCI/PIO and NRI candidates are exempt from taking the MHT CET. Such applicants can apply for admission based on their grade 12/equivalent tests. Separate counseling for OCI/PIO/NRI candidates is held separately after the admission process of MHT CET. |
MHT CET 2025 Application Form
The Maharashtra CET Cell has released the MHT CET Application Form online at cetcell.mahacet.org. The process of filling out the MHT CET 2025 application form contains four steps; Registration, Filling in personal and academic details, exam city preference, and paper (BTech/BPharma), and Uploading documents. Payment of application fees. The application fee for MHT CET 2025 is INR 800. The costs can be paid online using a credit or debit card, internet banking, or UPI.
Steps to Fill MHT CET 2025 Form
Eligible applicants can fill out the MHT CET application form 2025 online via the official website of Maha CET Cell. Before filling out the form, candidates must complete the MHT CET registration to create their login information. To complete the MHT CET 2025 Application form, candidates must follow the steps below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of MHT CET cell at cetcell.mahacet.org.
Step 2: From the homepage, click on the “MHT CET 2025 Registration” link.
Step 3: Read the instructions attentively and then click the “New Registration” button.
Step 4: Fill out the registration form with your personal and educational information.
Step 5: Submit scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the format specified.
Step 6: For access to the MHT CET 2025 form, the candidate must check in again with their registered number and the password generated.
Step 7: Fill out all the required information correctly in the MHT CET 2025 Application Form.
Step 8: Review all of the information submitted into the application form and click the “Submit” button.
Step 9: Pay the MHT CET application fee online via debit card, credit card, or net banking.
Step 10: Print out the application form and store it for future reference.
MHT CET Application Form 2025 Documents Required
When filling out the MHT CET application form 2025, candidates must provide certain documents as verification of their date of birth and educational qualifications. The documents are as follows:
