Candidates’ performance in the CLAT is the only factor used to determine their admission to the course for LLB and LLM. It is required of candidates to register on the CLAT website for the CLAT Counselling process to take admission into MNLU Mumbai.
The University will administer the Ph.D. Admission Test (PAT) for admission to the Ph.D. program. Candidates who meet the requirements for JRF or UGC-NET do not have to take the test; they can go straight to the in-person interview.
MNLU Mumbai Highlights
Under the MLNU Mumbai Act, the Maharashtra State Government founded the Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai in 2014. The institution is a member of India’s Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). Additionally, it has Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in place with foreign universities to offer options for student exchange programs, such as L’Universite’ Paris Nanterre and Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL), Germany.
The law school is being run out of the Centre for Excellence in Telecom Training and Management (CETTM) campus. For the first two years, it was housed on the same site as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), located in Mumbai. The state government has granted MNLU Mumbai 60 acres of land for the development of its own campus, which it will shortly relocate there.

MNLU Mumbai Admission 2024 Important Dates
As stated above, the admission to the LLM and BA LLB Hons course of MNLU Mumbai will be done through the CLAT counselling process. The dates for the same has been released. The registration process to take admission into MNLU Mumbai is going on from 11 December 2023. Students will be able to register for the counselling process till 20 December 2023.

To take admission into different course in MNLU Mumbai, students will have to satisfy their admission eligibility criteria for the year 2024.
