The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. Application Form For NEET 2025 – Stages
The NEET 2025 Application process is completed by candidates in online mode only via NTA NEET official website neet.nta.nic.in. The application process for the NEET exam can be divided into five main stages: NEET Registration, Application Form Filling, Documents Upload, Application Fee Payment, and Final Submission. The step-wise procedure to complete all these processes is given below.
NEET UG Registration 2025
The first step in filling the NEET 2025 application form is the registration process. Candidates can register themselves for the NEET UG 2025 exam by providing basic details like name, mobile number, email id, and other personal details. After the successful registration, students can head to fill in the NEET application form 2025 using the registration details.
Step 01: Go to the official site of the National Testing Agency: https://neet.nta.nic.in/ or https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
Step 02: Next, click on ‘complete application form’. On the new page, select ‘New registration’, which will direct you to the instructions page that should be read thoroughly.
Step 03: Provide all the required information including the Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, State of Eligibility, Category, Mobile Number, Email ID, and so on.
Step 04: Next, set a password according to the specified requirements that will be utilized for all upcoming logins. Type it again, select a security question, and provide your response. Applicants are encouraged to securely store the security question and answer, as this may be necessary to recover the password if they forget it.
Step 05: Following the registration process, the authorities will provide a provisional application number. This will be the user identification that will be utilized during the login process.

How to Fill NEET Application Form 2025
Once the candidates have completed their NEET 2025 registration, they must adhere to the steps outlined below to complete their NEET 2025 application form:
Step 06: At this stage, candidates must complete the NEET 2025 application form by entering all necessary personal information, educational background (Pass status, Year of passing/appearance, Place of schooling, Type of school/college, Qualifying examination state, Qualifying examination district, School board, Result mode, etc.), qualifying exam, and contact information.
Step 07: Next, choose the language of the question paper since the NEET Exam will be available in 13 languages. Next, choose the city for the exam.
Step 08: Once candidates have meticulously filled in all the information, they must confirm every detail by selecting each section. Candidates will not be permitted to move ahead without checking the specific details. Candidates are urged to check all the information thoroughly since modifications will not be permitted after submission.
NEET Form 2025 Documents Upload
Step 09: At this point, the candidates must upload their photographs and signatures. The agency has also disclosed the dimensions and format of the photo and signature that need to be submitted. The picture should be passport-sized with a white backdrop, displaying the candidate’s name and the date of the photo below the image.
The file size may range from 10 kb to 200 kb in JPEG format. Signature: This should be executed using a black ink pen on white paper and must be saved as a scanned file ranging from 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG format.
NEET 2025 Registration Fees
Step 10: Finally, the candidates must pay the application fee using net banking or a credit/debit card. The students are notified that the fees for the NEET application form 2025 differ for general, OBC/ST/SC, and EWS categories.
The application form fee for NEET UG 2025 is Rs 1700 for the general category, Rs 1600 for the EWS category, and Rs 1600 for the OBC category. For the SC/ST category, the fee is Rs 1000.

NEET UG 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling up the NEET UG 2025 application form, candidates must ensure that they satisfy their eligibility requirements. The detailed eligibility criteria to fill up the NEET UG are stated below.
Qualification: Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized education board
Appearing Candidates: Candidates in their 12th class are also eligible to apply
Minimum Marks Requirement: Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying exam (40% for OBC/SC/ST and 45% for PwBD)
Age Limit: Candidates must have attained a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of admission as of 31 December 2025. There is no upper age limit.
Eligible Nationality: Indian Citizens, NRI (Non Resident Indian), PIO (Person of Indian Origin), OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), Foreign Nationals
Attempt Limit: There is no attempt limit for NEET UG exam
NEET Application Form- Important Guidelines
- Aspirants can submit their applications for NEET (UG) – 2025 exclusively in “Online” mode via the website – exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/.
- The Online Application Form can be submitted by visiting the NTA website. The Application Form submitted in any different manner will not be accepted.
- A candidate is allowed to submit just one application.
- Applicants must adhere closely to the guidelines provided in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Applicants who do not follow the instructions will be immediately disqualified.
- Applicants must confirm that the email address and mobile number listed in the Online Application Form belong to them or their Parents/Guardians exclusively, as all information and communication will be dispatched by NTA via email to the registered email address or SMS to the registered mobile number only.
- All applicants must upload proof of address (current and permanent) while filling out the online Application Form for NEET (UG) – 2025. Proof of address can consist of an AADHAAR Card, Domicile Certificate, Passport, Voter ID card, etc. If relevant, both documents should be combined and uploaded as one PDF file. If the Present and Permanent addresses match, then the same document will be adequate.
