NEET Center wise Result 2024 Out Soon, Check City wise PDF Download Link

The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India has directed NTA to release NEET Center wise Result 2024 in its latest judgement regarding the NEET UG exam. The Supreme Court instructed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to reveal the center-wise and city-wise results of NEET-UG 2024 by 12 noon on July 20 (Saturday) while keeping the identities of candidates hidden. It is the first time that the NTA will release the NEET 2024 Result center wise and city wise.

NEET Center wise Result 2024

The NEET center wise result 2024 is being published by the NTA after an order given by the Division Bench led by Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud. The NEET UG city-wise and center-wise results must be released by NTA on July 20 by 12 noon as ordered by the Supreme Court on Thursday, July 18. The highest court ordered the Agency to upload the marks of students who took the exam on the website, while keeping the identity of the students masked.

Why NEET 2024 Result Released Center wise or City wise?

To know the scale of damage caused by the NEET UG paper leak, the bench led by Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud along with Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra directed for NEET UG results to be released by tomorrow afternoon, with a breakdown based on city and exam center.

While attempting to investigate the accusations of misconduct during the exam, a panel led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud stated that any decision to redo the exam must be based on a clear determination that the integrity of the whole process was compromised. This can be better analyzed with the help of NEET center wise result 2024 and NEET city wise result 2024. The next hearing on this matter will be done on July 22, 2024 (Monday).

NEET Result 2024

NTA NEET UG exam took place on May 5 this year in 4750 centers. The announcement of the NEET UG results took place on June 4. The result was announced 10 days earlier from the scheduled date of June 14 along with the Lok Sabha results. The result took everyone by storm because a total of 61 candidates scored full marks, the first ever in the history of the exam. Steps Taken by NTA After NEET UG Result 2024

As soon as the allegations of paper leak leading to high cut-off and more number of students receiving top marks became widespread on social media, the NTA said in its clarification that 1563 students received grace marks leading to more number of students getting top marks. The NTA conducted a re-examination for students receiving grace marks on June 23, and the results were disclosed on June 30, 2024. Approximately 2.4 million candidates took the main exam this year.

NEET Center-wise Result 2024: Irregularities in Exam

According to the court, it seemed at first glance that the leakage of the question paper was only in Patna and Hazaribagh, and there was no indication that a similar incident occurred in Godhra, Gujarat. Allegedly, the question papers were leaked in Patna and Hazaribagh, and there were allegations in Godhra that a test organizer received payment for filling out OMR sheets for specific candidates.

Before, the Court acknowledged that the paper leak was not contested, but stated that a retest would be the final option, with a decision pending on the extent of the leak. On 8 July 2024, the Court ordered the National Testing Agency (NTA) to provide information about the NEET exam that it administers. The leak is currently under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

NEET 2024 Revised Result

The NTA will publish the NEET UG 2024 result center-wise and city-wise on its official website. The NEET 2024 revised result will be published in a sorted order both center wise and city wise. But the result won’t feature the names of candidates. The NEET center-wise result 2024 will help the court understand the irregularities on different centers (if any). The city-wise revised result will help the petitioners and SC know if there are widespread leak in different cities as was the case in Patna and Hazaribagh.

“We direct the NTA to publish the marks obtained by students at the UG-2024 NEET examination, while, at the same time, without disclosing the identity of the students. The result should be declared city and centre-wise by 12 noon on 20 July 2024 and shall be uploaded on the website of the NTA”.

NEET Center wise Result 2024: IIT Madras Report

As per the SC order to employ Data Analytics method to find irregularities in the NEET UG 2024 exam, the Union Government tasked IIT Madras with this job. In its report, IITM refuted the allegations of paper leak allegation by presenting the data. The NTA and the Union both said that no retest was necessary because they didn’t find any major irregularities based on the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) report.

IITM’s report gathered and studied data on various aspects of the exam, including the scores of all exam takers. The information also featured a detailed breakdown of the top 100 candidates who achieved the highest scores in the exam, categorized by city and center. The petitioners argued that the IITM report was not a true representation.

The SC can issue notification based on the result data whether to hold the NEET exam once again for all students or at limited exam centers and cities.
