NEET Exam 2023
The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET). The NEET 2023 exam is primarily an offline test that is given in 13 languages. This year NEET UG Examm is going to take place on 7th May 2023. The National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the NEET exam to applicants for dental, medical, nursing, and AYUSH programmes in India. NEET UG is a single national-level undergraduate medical entrance exam held each year in India for admission to 645 medical, 318 dentistry, 914 AYUSH, and 47 BVSc and AH colleges.

NEET Exam 2023 Format and Structure
NEET Exam is a pen-and-paper-based exam that will be conducted offline. The exam will contain one paper with 180 objective-type questions, each carrying 4 marks. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. NEET Exam 2023 Marking Scheme
NEET UG 2023 will contain a negative marking. Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks, while each incorrect answer will lead to a deduction of 1 mark. Unanswered questions will not be awarded any marks.

NEET Exam 2023 Application Process: Step-by-Step Guide and Instructions
The NEET UG 2023 application process started on March 6, 2023, and the last date to apply was April 6, 2023. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for NEET UG 2023:
Step 1: Registration
You need to visit the official website of NEET UG 2023 and click on the ‘New Registration’ tab in it. Now, enter your basic details such as name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID. A system-generated registration number and password will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.
Step 2: Filling the Application Form
Now you have to log in with the system-generated registration number and password to fill the application form. Enter your personal, academic, and communication details. Upload the asked documents like your scanned photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format.
Step 3: Payment of Application Fee
After filling out the application form, pay the application fee online mode using a credit/debit card, net banking, or UPI. The application fee will be 1500 for General/OBC candidates, but this is a bit less for SC/ST/PwD candidates and that is Rs. 800.
Step 4: Print the Application Form
After making a successful payment, make a copy of the completed application form for future reference.
Important instructions:
- Candidates need to read the information brochure carefully before filling the application form.
- The application form can only be filled online. No offline mode of application is available for Apirants.
- The scanned images of the photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression should be in JPG/JPEG format and should not exceed 200 KB.
- The name and date of photograph should be mentioned below the photograph in the prescribed format.
- The signature and left-hand thumb impression should be done on a white paper using a black ballpoint pen and should be scanned in the prescribed format.
- Candidates should provide a valid and active mobile number and email ID as all important communication related to the exam will be sent to them through SMS/email.
- The application fee will not be refunded and reversible to the transfer under any circumstances.
- Applicants should keep a copy of their completed application form, payment receipt, and all other essential documents for future reference.
- By following the above steps and instructions carefully, candidates can successfully complete the NEET UG 2023 application process.

NEET Exam 2023 Application Correction Window
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the NEET UG 2023 application corrction from April 8, 2023 to April 10, 2023, through 11:50 PM. Applicants who successfully submitted the NEET 2023 form and wish to make modifications or update its details may do so using the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
Only registered applicants for the medical entrance examination are urged to modify and validate their application forms within the time frame specified. The agency will not accept form revisions after the deadline under any circumstances.

Dos on NEET UG 2023 Exam Day:
- You need to reach the exam center well before the reporting time mentioned in the admit card.
- Carry all the necessary documents, including the admit card, photo ID proof, and passport-size photograph.
- Wear the dress that was mentioned & Granted by the authorities.
- Read the instructions given on the question paper and OMR sheet carefully.
- You need to be calm during the exam and try to focus on your preparation.
- Attempt easy questions first and then move to the difficult ones.
- Manage your time wisely.
- Revise your answers before submitting the OMR sheet.
- Stay hydrated and avoid consuming heavy meals.
- Follow all the COVID-19 protocols like wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, and using hand sanitizers.
Don’ts on NEET UG 2023 Exam Day:
- Do not carry any type of electric types of equipment in the exam hall like mobile phones, smart watches, or calculators.
- Do not carry any written material, cheats, notes, or books inside the exam hall.
- Do not indulge in any malpractice or unethical behavior.
- Do not talk or communicate with other candidates during the exam.
- Do not forget to sign the attendance sheet provided at the exam center.
