NEET-MDS 2025 Exam Pattern Revised
The NBEMS has made significant changes in the NEET-MDS exam pattern 2025 to make this PG entrance exam more secure. The NEET-MDS question paper will now be divided into two sections/parts: Part A and Part B with strict time restrictions and navigation. Candidates will be given particular time to complete each part and candidates cannot go from one part to another part after the sectional time limit ends.
NEET-MDS Exam Pattern 2025 Revised
As per the revised NEET-MDS exam pattern 2025:
- Part A will include 100 questions and allow 75 minutes for completion.
- Part B will include 140 questions and will last for 105 minutes.
- Most importantly, the candidates cannot advance to the next section until the allotted time for the preceding section has ended.
- Once a section is completed, they will not be allowed to return to it and make any changes.
- The next section will open automatically once the time runs out.
- Candidates cannot move to the next part before the allotted time ends.
- Once the time is over for a section, you cannot review or change your answers
Why NBEMS Revised the NEET MDS 2025 Exam Pattern
NBEMS observed that the changes is a reaction to increasing concern regarding test-day security and the validity of entrance examinations. NEET-MDS 2025 will implement a more rigorous time-oriented structure to enhance exam integrity and impartiality. Due to growing concerns about exam integrity, the NBEMS has implemented this change to promote transparency and prevent any potential misuse during the test.
Will this Change Affect Other Medical Exams
This is one step in a series of measures implemented by NBEMS to enhance exam security and ensure fairness. The time-restricted pattern will now be applied to all NBEMS computer-based exams, such as NEET-PG, NEET-SS, FMGE, DNB-PDCET, GPAT, DPEE, FDST, and FET. The latest changes means:
- More structured time management
- No second-guessing or revisiting questions
- Higher need for mock test practice under strict timing
