The NEET PG counselling 2024 process is organized by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for the purpose of admission into MD, MS and DNB programs. The MCC conducts the NEET PG counselling 2024 for 50% of the All India Quota seats in various medical institutions located across the country while the respective state counselling authorities will be conducting counselling for rest 50% of the AIQ seats.

NEET PG Counselling 2024 Registration Fees

To be involved in the NEET PG 2024 counseling, applicants must submit the registration fee. Payment for NEET PG 2024 counselling registration must be made online through Net banking, credit card, or debit card. The registration fee consists of two parts: one that can be refunded and one that cannot be refunded. The registration for NEET PG 2024 counselling round-1 began on September 20, 2024. Enrollment for the first round of counseling is available online until September 26, 2024. NEET PG 2024 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

In order to join the counseling for NEET PG 2024, applicants need to achieve a score that is equal to or higher than the qualifying cutoffs set by MCC. Candidates who want to take admission into PG courses through NEET PG counselling must have passed the MBBS exam and completed their 1 year compulsory internship by August 15, 2024.

NEET PG Counselling 2024 Options to Choose

Candidates need to select options according to their status after the first round of NEET PG counselling seat allotment results are out. They must select one of the options listed to indicate their preference for the upcoming round of counseling for NEET PG.

Option 1: This is referred to as ‘free exit’. If a candidate fails to report to the assigned institute within the specified time frame, the seat allocated to them in the first round of NEET PG counselling 2024 will be forfeited automatically.

Choice 2: The candidate is content with the seat he/she received in the first round of NEET PG 2024 counseling and complies with reporting to the designated colleges within the required time to ensure the seat.

Option 3: Individuals who are dissatisfied with their assigned seat in the initial round can choose to upgrade their seats and take part in the subsequent round of counseling. If a seat is not improved in the second round of NEET PG 2024 counseling, the seat assigned in the first round will be preserved.
