The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is in charge of administering the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduate courses exam. NEET PG 2025
The NEET PG Exam 2025 is scheduled for June 15, 2025 in two shifts. The NBE board has confirmed the dates of all events on the NBE’s official website at https://nbe.edu.in/. The NEET PG 2025 exam will be held in computer-based (CBT) format. Applicants can complete the exam form from the same website, but they must first verify the eligibility criteria properly. Candidates who have successfully registered will be eligible to download the NEET PG admit card 2025.
NEET PG Exam Date 2025
As per the NEET PG 2025 notice released by the NBEMS, the NEET PG 2025 exam date is June 15, 2025. Just like the last year, the NBE will hold the exam in two shifts. Based on information obtained from universities, it has been decided that the internship completion deadline will be kept at July 31, 2025. The candidates are demanding to conduct the exam in a single shift.

NEET PG Application Process 2025
NEET PG registration form for 2025 exam is available online from April 17, 2025. Candidates will be able to submit only one application form. At the same time, multiple application forms will not be approved. Upload the relevant papers in the right format, including a scanned photograph, signature, and thumb impression. NEET PG 2025 Eligibility
Candidates who wish to sit for the NEET PG 2025 Exam must meet the following requirements:
For Indian Medical Students
- Educational Requirements: The applicant must hold an MBBS degree or a provisional pass MBBS degree certificate from a recognized institution under the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. In addition to the MBBS degree, they need to have a permanent/provisional MBBS registration certificate.
- Age Limit: There is no specified age limit to apply for NEET PG exam.
- Medical Council Registration: The candidate must hold a valid registration issued by the MCI or the appropriate State Medical Council.
- Internship: A one-year internship must be completed by the designated time, which is normally in March, for any exam year.
- NEET PG Attempts: There is no limit to attempting the entrance examination.
For Foreign Medical Students
- FMGE Pass Certificate: Candidates who want to appear NEET PG exam 2025 and have completed their primary medical qualification from outside India will need to pass the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) exam first.
- Registration: Foreign medical graduate candidates should have registered with the MCI/ SMC after obtaining the FMGE Certificate.
- Nationality: Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) will be eligible to apply.
- Internship: Candidates must complete one year of internship on or before 11th August 2025.
NEET PG 2025 Pattern
NBE issues the NEET PG 2025 pattern, along with the official booklet. The test pattern includes details regarding the exam such as the mode, medium, and total number of questions, type, and marking scheme. There will be negative markings (-1) in the exam.

NEET PG 2025 Syllabus
The NEET PG syllabus includes MBBS-related subjects and topics. The course is divided into three sections: clinical, pre-clinical, and paraclinical. “The syllabus for the exam will consist of subject/knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations provided by the erstwhile Medical Council of India with prior approval of the Govt of India,” according to the official advertisement.

NEET PG 2025 Admit Card
Applicants who register successfully by the specified deadline will receive an admit card for NEET PG 2025. It should be mentioned that NBE will not deliver the NEET PG 2025 admit card via email or postal service. Applicants must access the official website to retrieve the admit card after logging in and entering information like application ID, password, and security code. The admit card includes essential information such as the name and location of the exam center. Candidates must bring their admit card and one form of photo identification to the NEET PG 2025 center.
