NEET PG Result Normalization Process

• NEET PG scores will be normalized to guarantee fair results. This normalization approach involves calculating percentile scores to seven decimal places, which helps to eliminate clustering effects.
• The top score in each shift will be placed at the 100th percentile with this scoring approach. This means that the top score for each shift will be regarded as the highest, and all subsequent results will be compared to this top score.

For example, if the highest score in Shift 1 is 80% and Shift 2 is 82 percent, these values will be adjusted to the 100th percentile for their respective shifts.

• The NBE has offered an example to demonstrate the normalization process. If the highest scores are 80% in Shift 1, 82% in Shift 2, 78% in Shift 3, and 79% in Shift 4,
• According to this rule, each highest score will be modified to the 100th percentile for their respective shifts. The lowest scores will be assigned percentiles depending on the overall performance of the candidates.
