Aspirants who take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) now can check their individual NEET PG scorecard 2024 at the official site. The user ID and password are necessary to download the NEET PG 2024 result scorecard.

The NEET PG examination was held on August 11, 2024. The test was held in 170 cities throughout the country at 416 centers. Step 3: Click the link and input your login information which is your ID, password, and security code.

NEET PG Cutoff 2024

According to the NEET PG 2024 criteria, distinct categories have unique cut-off percentiles for admission to MD, MS, DNB, and Diploma degrees. This cut-off will determine who is eligible for admission to medical school. The cutoff marks of different categories are discussed below.

1. The lowest NEET PG cutoff score for candidates in the General and EWS categories is the 50th percentile.
2. Those in the General-PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) group must meet at least the 45 percentile marks.
3. The NEET PG cut-off for applicants from the SC, ST, or OBC categories, including those with impairments, is set at the 40th percentile.

NEET PG Scorecard 2024: Types of Result

The NBE issues two different types of NEET PG result for admission to medical colleges’ PG courses nationwide. The scores of NEET PG are utilized by medical colleges to assign various seat categories to candidates. Below are the explanations for both types of results of NEET PG.

NEET PG 50% AIQ Seat Results

This NEET PG results category is specifically for the allocation of 50% of All India Quota Seats during admissions. The result is published by NBE in PDF form. The seats are filled through counseling administered by the Medical Counselling Committee. Entry to these seats is determined by AIQ rank, marks secured, preferences submitted, reservation criteria, and seat availability. The admission cut-off for AIQ 50% seats equals the minimum qualifying percentile.

NEET PG State Quota Seat Results

This result is specifically for admission to State quota seats. The State authorities carry out guidance sessions for admission to PG courses in the state quota category. No state can hold any additional exam for assigning MD/MS/PG diploma seats.

NEET PG Merit List 2024 Types

The NBEMS releases two types of merit lists which has been discussed below.

• All India 50% quota rank refers to a universal merit list showing the candidate’s position based on performance in the entrance test, regardless of their category. The final merit list will consist of the names of all candidates who took the exam.
• All India 50% quota category rank: It is a merit list specific to each category, showing the candidate’s position relative to others in the same category (OBC/SC/ST) chosen by the candidate. The list will consist solely of names of candidates who chose to avail reservations for their specific category.
