How to Calculate NEET Score in Percentile?

The NEET scores provide a direct evaluation of a candidate’s performance, whereas the percentile is a comparative metric. To compute the NEET percentile, candidates must know their NEET results and rank. There are two ways to calculate the NEET percentile: by marks and by rank. So, let us learn how to calculate these two parts of the NEET result 2024.

  • Marks-based NEET percentile

A student may easily compute their NEET percentage using their NEET score and the NEET topper’s score from that year.

NEET percentile = your NEET score * 100 / the topper’s NEET score.

  • Rank-based NEET percentile

Students can also determine their NEET percentage, as well as their NEET rank and the number of candidates that took the NEET that year.

NEET percentile = [(total number of candidates appeared in NEET rank) / total number of appearing candidates]. x 100
