NIMCET 2025 Exam Date Out, Application Form (Soon), Eligibility Criteria

The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, has announced the NIMCET 2025 exam date via an official notification on their website, nimcet.admissions.nic.in. As per the announcement, the authorities will administer the NIMCET Exam 2025 on June 8, 2025, in a single shift from 2 PM to 4 PM at various centers.

The National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test is a national level exam that is held each year to give admission to the Masters in Computer Application (MCA) Program at participating NITs. To register for the exam, candidates must fill out and submit the online NIMCET 2025 application form, which is likely to be issued in April 2025.

NIMCET 2025 Exam Date OUT

According to the official NIMCET 2025 Exam date, the exam will be held on June 8, 2025 (Sunday) in 30 cities across India. The entrance exam will be a computer-based test from 2 to 4 p.m.  Students who clear the exam get the opportunity to enroll in MCA programs at NITs in Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Meghalaya, Patna, Raipur, Tiruchirappalli, and Warangal and IIITs in Bhopal and Vadodara.

NIMCET 2025 Dates

As per the schedule, the NIMCET 2025 Registration process is likely to start in April 2025, and the application window will be opened for at least 15-20 days. NIMCET 2025 Application Form

The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, is likely to publish the NIMCET 2025 application form by the second or third week of April 2025. The NIMCET 2025 registartion cum application form will be made available online soon at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. Eligible candidates must fill out and submit the NIMCET application form 2025 before the final date.

While filling out the NIMCET application form, candidates must include personal, academic, and contact information. All of the information provided must be valid. Candidates must also upload their scanned documents and pay the NIMCET 2025 application fee online via net banking, credit card, or debit card.

NIMCET 2025 Eligibility

Before registering, candidates should review the official NIMCET 2025 eligibility criteria, as failure to fulfill the minimum requirements leads to cancellation of the candidature of the student. The NIMCET 2025 eligibility requirements are explained below.
1. The applicants must be Indian citizens.
2. Applicants must have completed a three-year full-time BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent as one of the subjects from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or a 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST candidates).
3. SC/ST candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks or a 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in a BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent as one of the disciplines from a recognized university.
4. Applicants having a BE/B Tech or similar qualification from a recognized university are eligible to take the exam.
5. Applicants with a three-year degree (BSc, BSc(Hons), BCA, or BIT) from Open Universities are eligible to apply if their program is authorized by UGC, AICTE, and the Distance Education Council (DEC) of the Indian government. 4. Applicants having a BE/B Tech or similar qualification from a recognized university are eligible to take the exam.
6. Prospective students who will take the qualifying test may also apply for the NIMCET 2025.
