NIMCET Result 2024 Tie Breaking Rules

According to the authority in the event of a tie, the following 5 NIMCET Result 2024 tie-breaking rules shall be implemented.

	Tie Breaking Rules
Rule 1 –	If there is a tie, the candidate with the higher Mathematics score will be given preference in the merit list.
Rule 2 –	This regulation will apply only if two or more candidates score similarly in Mathematics. The candidate’s scores in Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning will be used to determine rank.
Rule 3	This regulation will apply only if two or more candidates obtain the same marks in Mathematics, Analytical Ability, and Logical Reasoning. The candidate’s marks in Computer Awareness will be used to determine their rank.
Rule 4	This regulation will take effect only if two or more candidates receive the same score in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, and Computer Awareness. Older candidates will be given preference in the merit list.
Rule 5	This policy shall take effect if the above tiebreakers are unable to settle the stalemate. Computer-generated random sampling will be taken into account for merit evaluation.
Rule 6	Ranks obtained by candidates in the NIMCET-2024 test will be provided and available on the official website.

What is the NIMCET 2024 Exam?

After qualifying for the exam students will be admitted in approx 800+ seats in the top 9 NITs in India.

The NIMCET entrance exam is a computer-based test.
Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness, and English are asked in the exam.
the maximum weighted mark will be 1000.
Candidates will be ranked based on their total weighted marks.
