NIT Fee Structure 2024
The JEE Mains 2024 exam has just concluded; shortly after JEE Main counseling, the responsible authority will release the NIT fee structure 2024 for BTech on the JoSAA portal. Students who want to study at the National Institutes of Technology (NIT) should be aware of the four-year NIT BTech Fees so that they can plan their budget before admission.
The NIT BTech fee is approx Rs. 62,500 per semester at most NITs. The NIT fee Structure 2024 for BTech includes tuition, one-time admission fees, hostel and mess fees, and other expenses. The NITs also provide many exemptions in fees, which vary depending on the student’s family income. NIT Fees Structure for BTech 2024: Components
NITs are considered among the best engineering colleges in India after IITs, and they charge lower BTech Course Fees than other large engineering colleges. To gain admission to NITs, a student must pass the JEE Main 2024 exam. Students also need to clear the JEE Main opening and closing ranks and the JEE cutoff marks. Students must cover their fees at the start of each semester, as outlined in the NIT fee structure.
Meritorious students from families with an income of less than Rs. 1 lakh are eligible for NIT fee grants. Reduced NIT tuition fees for BTech programmes are also available to students from reserved category applicants. However, each institute have different NIT fee structure 2024 for many components. Some of the factors that divers the NIT Btech fees are –
Tuition fees, Admission, Library, and Development Fees, student group, other fees, matriculation and recognition, sports affiliation, student welfare, and amenities. Fees include magazine fees, association fees, registration fees, and an annual Mediclaim premium.

BTech Fee Structure 2024 in NITs: Semester-Wise
The fee structure consists of several components, one of which is tuition, which is the same across all NITs. They have to pay 1st sem BTech fee including 62,500 tuition fee. the components of the NIT BTECH fee structure 2024 may differ from one institute to another. NIT Tuition Fees 2024: Benefits
NITs in India also provide NIT tuition fees related advantages to candidates in a variety of categories and economically weak students.
- For claiming tuition fee waivers, candidates must produce the family’s Income Certificate given by the competent authority each year. Along with the income certificate.
- candidates must also submit a declaration in the format specified on the Institute website, on non-judicially stamped paper worth Rs. 100.

- 100% tuition fee waiver for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Physically Handicapped students.
- Economically disadvantaged students those with a family income of less than Rs.1 lakh per year are eligible for full fee reimbursement.
- Additional economically disadvantaged students will receive a two-thirds fee discount if their family’s annual income falls between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh.
NIT FEE Structure: Seat Matrix
JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) will publish the detailed NIT seat matrix 2024 for all NITs following the completion of the JEE Main 2024 counseling. NIT seats will be allocated based on categories. The table below shows the category-wise NIT seat matrix for the previous year.
