National Law School of India University, Bangalore is one of the most renowned law schools in the country. NLSIU Bangalore was the first university to be established in the year 1986. NLSIU, Bangalore has one of the finest infrastructures in the country. Admission here is done through the CLAT Scores and only the top few get here. The first day is generally the Orientation Class where you get to know your peers and acquaint yourself with the College, its history, alumni, etc. Then you will get a chance to interact with your peers as well. These people you meet, are going to spend the next five years with you. You will also be guided about your curriculum, attendance requirements and other things.
NLSIU also organizes Spiritus which is India’s largest Inter-Law Sports Festival. The NLSIU, Bangalore has one of the finest sports infrastructures in the country in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India.
You also have the Convocation and Theater Fest, which will unleash the hidden actor in you. You can perform plays, act in movie sequences at the fest, and sing a song. It is a great way to rejuvenate yourself and also to know your talents well. In October month usually, you have a month’s leave to enjoy yourself with your friends and family.
Even Rock Bands from across the globe come and perform at the NLSIU, Bangalore campus. The rock bands such as Skrillex, Sky Rabbit, etc have performed in the NLSIU, Bangalore Campus. The college also organizes LeGala, which is a cultural festival to bring out your artistic skills. There is also a University Week in the third trimester where a lot of activities and interesting events are organized. All students are divided into groups and each group fights for the Cultural Shield which is the ultimate reward.
The most interesting part of University Week is the NLS Ball, you will be asked to choose your own partner who will accompany you to the Ball. The Canteen is NLSIU, Bangalore is open till 12:30 am at night and you can enjoy cuisines of your choice easily.

The gym, which formerly occupied a 990-square-foot indoor area, will be relocated to a newly created 1,575-square-foot facility in the Training Centre in 2021. With the enhanced safety requirements in place, housekeeping staff ensures that the facility is cleaned and sanitised on a regular basis.
Sports Facilities at NLSIU Bangalore
The University has improved its existing sports facilities, including the addition of a new 200-meter running track near the football field. The Football Field, Basketball Court, Throwball Court, Volleyball Courts, Tennis Court, and Badminton Courts have all been cleaned and marked and will be accessible to students, employees, and teachers from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Catering Facilities at NLSIU Bangalore
Aside from the mess in the hostels, the University is working on a comprehensive plan for all food services on campus, including the Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Canteen, and Training Centre areas. On a trial basis, inaugurated the ‘Quess Cafe’ at the Training Centre in November 2021. The Cafe, located across the basketball court, has a seating capacity of roughly 60 people and serves a range of meal and snack options.
