The NMMS result 2024 for the scholarship examination conducted in different states is being released on the SCERTs’ official websites. Via the official website of the respective state, students can view the merit list of the NMMS test results for 2023–2024. Some states release the NMMS Class 8th result 2024 in offline mode too. For such states, students can get their results 2024 either from their school or by visiting the education office of their zone. NMMS Result 2024 Gujarat
The State Examination Board of Gandhinagar has declared the nmms result 2024 gujarat on June 03, 2024. The Result for 8th Class Gujarat has been announced via the login window. NMMS AP Result 2024
The DGE Andhra Pradesh has announced the NMMS Andhra Pradesh 2023-24 results on June 05, 2024. Students can obtain NMMS AP results via the official website, bse.ap.gov.in. They can verify their NMMS results by entering their UDISE code or roll number. The AP NMMS result 2024 has been announced in the form of a merit list PDF. Jharkhand NMMS Result 2024 8th Class
The Jharkhand Academic Council has announced NMMS Jharkhand results in on May 15. The Jharkhand NMMS results is out on the official website, jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jac-nmms.com. Students can access their Jharkhand result using application number and password. The NMMS Jharkhand test, which was set for December 17, 2023, was postponed and took place on February 11.
The JAC NMMS 2023-24 merit list will feature the names, categories, genders, fathers’ names, names, aggregate scores, and roll numbers of the selected applicants. Selected children will study in Classes 9 through 12 with an annual scholarship of Rs 12,000 each. The government offers students a stipend worth Rs 1,000 every month for a duration of one year.

HP NMMS Result 2024 8th Class
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Solan, announced the NMMS Himachal Pradesh results 2023-24 on 15 May. The NMMS result 2024 HP has been published as a district-specific merit list in PDF format. Students can view their NMMS HP results on the official website, himachalservices.nic.in or via the direct link given below.
The Himachal Pradesh NMMS test took place on November 26, 2023. The answer key has already been released on December 13. The NMMS HP result 2024 has been published in the form of merit list PDF.

The SCERT Kerala has unveiled the results for Class 8th Kerala NMMS 2024, conducted under the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS). UP NMMS Result 2024 8th Class
The Exam Regulatory Authority of Uttar Pradesh released the NMMS UP Result 2024 on 25 April 2024. The result was announced on the official website at entdata.co.in. The district-wise merit list of provisionally selected candidates will be released at entdata.co.in. Students and parents can access the UP NMMS result 2023-24 only in online mode.
NMMS Result 2024 UP
The UP NMMS exam was held on November 5, 2023, in which lakhs of students from class 8th participated. The examination authorities have already released the answer key for the NMMS 2023-2024 exam. Now the result with the merit list has also been declared.
The UP NMMS merit list will include the names of selected candidates, their dates of birth, the marks they received on the MAT and SAT exams, their rank, and other information. The financial aid provided by the NMMS scholarship initiative allows selected individuals to further their education.

The nmms up result pdf download has been made available on the official website. Students and their parents can download the merit list by logging into their account. The merit list has been released district-wise. The merit list PDF contains the name of the student along with his/her school details. Candidates whose names feature in the merit list will be eligible to receive the scholarship amount from the government.
UP NMMS Result 2024 Selection Criteria
Candidates are selected in the UP NMMS based on the two selection criteria: Minimum Qualifying Marks and UP NMMS Cut-off. The minimal scores required to be eligible for the exam in the MAT and SAT are known as the qualifying marks. In addition to meeting the NMMS cutoff, students must receive the following minimum qualifying marks in order to be considered for the award. The minimum qualifying marks in both the sections and overall is 40% for the general category students and 32% for the reserved category candidates.
The minimal marks attained by students who meet the quota requirements determine the NMMS cut-off for the Uttar Pradesh NMMS scholarship. Since the state will only offer scholarships to 15143 students in total, the cut-off will be equal to the final student’s score on the chosen list for that particular category, which will include a maximum of 15143 students. The UP houses the most number of NMMS scholarship seats.
West Bengal NMMS Result 2024 Class 8th
The West Bengal Department of School Education (DoSE) has released the West Bengal NMMS result 2023-24 on April 15. The DoSE West Bengal declared the result on the official website at scholarships.wbsed.gov.in. The NMMS West Bengal exam 2023-24 was held on December 17, 2023. The answer key for the NMMS exam of West Bengal was released on December 23, 2023. Students selected through the NMMS will receiver Rs.12,000 annually from class 9 to class 12.
A total of 7250 students have been selected for the scholarship through West Bengal NMMS. NMMS Result 2024 8th Class Kerala
The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) will announce the NMMS Kerala results 2024 in April/May 2024. Students can view the Kerala NMMS result 2024 online at nmmse.kerala.gov.in. NMMS Bihar Result 2024

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has announced the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Chandigarh 2023 results. NMMS Karnataka Result 2024
The Department of State Educational Research and Training (DSERT) declared the NMMS Karnataka result 2024 on April 4. NMMS Odisha Result 2024
On March 8, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) announced the results of the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) test. NMMS Result 2024 Maharashtra
The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE Pune) declared the NMMS Result Maharashtra. The result for the NMMS Maharashtra exam was declared on the official website at www.mscepune.in. The result was declared on 7 February. The Maharashtra NMMS Result 2024 was available until February 16, with the corresponding school login. According to the MSCE, the result is based on 90 questions for the SAT topic and 88 questions for the mental ability exam (MAT), as two questions were canceled.
NMMS Haryana Result 2024
SCERT Haryana issued the NMMS Haryana results on March 6. The NMMS Haryana exam was held on November 19, 2023, and students who took it can access the Haryana NMMS result PDF 2023-24 via the official website, scertharyana.gov.in. NMMS MP Result 2024
The Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSK) released the NMMS MP result 2023-24 on February 13. Students can obtain the NMMS MP merit list PDF from the official website, educationportal.mp.gov.in. Only those who passed the exam will see their names on the NMMS MP merit list PDF. They can view their roll number, name, marks, DOB, and other information in the NMMS Class 8 merit list 2023 PDF. TN NMMS Result 2024
The Directorate General of Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu has announced the TN NMMS Result 2024 in online mode. The DGETN announced the TN NMMS Result on 28 February. The Tamil Nadu NMMS Results was scheduled to be released at 4 PM but the result was declared earlier at around 2:30 PM. The National Means cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Examination results for the state of Tamil Nadu has been released by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu on February 28. Parents and students can check their selection status on the official website at dge.tn.gov.in as the results are now available. Candidates whose name appears in the TN NMMS Merit List 2024 PDF are offered scholarship amount as per the rules.
NMMS Uttarakhand Result 2023-24
On February 1, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) released the NMMS Uttarakhand result 2024. The board has produced a list of the selected candidates based on merit. NMMS Chhattisgarh Result 2024
On January 29, the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chhattisgarh, released the NMMS Chhattisgarh results for 2023–2024. NMMS Bihar Result 2024
The State Council of Educational Research & Training, Patna, is likely to reveal the NMMS Bihar exam results shortly. The NMMS Bihar Merit List 2023-24 is expected to be announced in April. Students can view the NMMS Bihar results on the official website, scert.bihar.gov.in. The Bihar NMMS examination was held on January 7. The answer key for the NMMS exam has been released by the Bihar Board on January 13.
NMMS Assam Result 2023-24
The Directorate of Secondary Education in Assam will tentatively release the NMMS Assam result 2023-24 in April/May 2024. The board announces the Assam NMMS results 2023-24 on their official website, madhyamik.assam.gov.in. The NMMS Assam merit list is available in PDF format on the official website.
The NMMS Assam test was conducted on November 18, 2023. Students waiting for their results can also download the ‘Bidyarthi’ app from the Google Play Store. The board will also post the selected candidates’ merit list on the application. In the previous academic year, the Assam board only provided the NMMS Assam result merit list PDF through the app.
West Bengal NMMS Result 2023-24
In April/May 2024, the Directorate of School Education in West Bengal will release the NMMS West Bengal results. Students can find the WB NMMS test results in PDF format on the official website, scholarships.wbsed.gov.in. The NMMS West Bengal Result will be given each district, along with a merit list of 7250 candidates. The NMMS West Bengal exam 2023-24 took place on December 17 Last year.
NMMS Result 2024 Telangana
The Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana is anticipated to release the result for 8th class telangana in May. Telangana’s National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) test was held on December 10, 2023, in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, and English for Class 8 pupils. NMMS Result 2024 Rajasthan

The NMMS Scholarship results PDF includes important information including the student’s full name, roll number, gender, date of birth, father’s name, and school ID. After the results are revealed, the school principal reviews and authenticates all pertinent information before submitting it to the office of the Deputy Director of Education.
NMMS Punjab Result 2024
The Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training will declare the NMMS Punjab results in April/May. The NMMS Punjab results are available in the form of a PDF merit list. NMMS Result 2024 8th Class Scholarship
The NMMS 2024 scholarship result score will play a great role in the lives of students belonging to economically weak backgrounds. The goal of the NMMS exam is to provide scholarships to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to prevent their class VIII dropouts and encourage them to pursue secondary education.
Every year, one lakh new scholarships are given out to carefully chosen students in class IX, with the option for these scholarships to be renewed or continued in classes X to XII for study at State Government, Government-aided, and Local Body institutions. Beginning on April 1, 2017, the scholarship will be awarded for Rs. 12000 annually (previously awarded for Rs.6000 annually).
NMMS Result 2023-24 Passing Criteria
The passing criteria for the NMMS exam have been set alike for all the states. The result is prepared based on marks scored in the two sections of the NMMS test paper: MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test). Each of the two sections contains 90 questions, totaling 180 questions in the NMMS exam. Students who pass the exam will have to receive an overall grade of 40% in both disciplines. Students from scheduled tribes (ST), scheduled castes (SC), and PwD, however, must receive an aggregate of 32% in both subjects.

Candidates will be able to check their NMMS score either in online mode or offline mode. In the states for which the result will be declared in online mode, students will be able to check their results by visiting the official website of the respective SCERTs. Candidates will also be able to view the result for a particular state by clicking on the direct link given below state-wise in this article. The steps to check the result from the respective SCERT are given herein.
Step 1: Visit the official website of the State’s education department or the SCERT
Step 2: On that website, click on the link NMMS Result 2023-24
Step 3: The NMMS results PDF will appear on the screen
Step 4: Check for the student’s name and school details in the NMMS result merit list PDF
Step 5: If the name of the student appears in the merit list PDF, it means they passed the exam
Step 6: Along with the cutoff marks, shortlisted students will also be able to view their MAT and SAT results.
Step 7: When they locate their result, students need to download it and print the result PDF for later use.
Important Points to Get NMMS Scholarship
Candidates whose names appear in the NMMS merit list must know about some important points. The following qualifying requirements must be met by chosen candidates to receive the NMMS scholarship amount:
- The combined annual income of the candidates’ parents cannot exceed Rs. 3.50 lakh.
- The candidate must have received at least 55% of the possible marks in Class 7 (5% less for SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent grade.
- Students must have passed the annual exams with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent (5% for SC/ST) to be eligible for scholarship renewal in Classes 9 and 10.
- For the NMMS scholarship to continue in Classes 11 and 12, students must receive at least 60% (5% for SC/ST) or equivalent in their Class 10 exam results.
- Within three months of the announcement of the CBSE or equivalent board results for the previous class, students must be admitted to the next class.
What After NMMS Result 2024 Declaration?
To receive the scholarship money, students must register a joint account with their parents following the announcement of the NMMS exam results for 2023–2024. Selected applicants will be awarded a Rs.12000 annual scholarship (Rs.1000 monthly). The Public Financial Management System (PFMS) will be used by the bank to electronically transfer the monthly fund or scholarship amount to the student’s accounts.
