NMMS Result 2024-25

The NMMS result 2024-25 for the scholarship examination conducted in different states contains the roll numbers, names, marks scored and other related details of successful students. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERTs) will begin announcing the NMMS result 2024-25 in January 2025. Subsequently, authority from various states will release their NMMS exam results for 2024-25 on different dates and websites in either February/March or April 2025. The NMMS 2024-25 exam in Maharashtra has been concluded. The NMMS Maharashtra results are anticipated to be announced by the Maharashtra State Council of Education Research and Training (MSCERT) in Pune in February 2025. NMMS Result 2025 8th Class Scholarship

The NMMS 2025 scholarship result score will play a great role in the lives of students belonging to economically weak backgrounds. The goal of the NMMS exam is to provide scholarships to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to prevent their class VIII dropouts and encourage them to pursue secondary education.

Every year, one lakh new scholarships are given out to carefully chosen students in class IX, with the option for these scholarships to be renewed or continued in classes X to XII for study at State Government, Government-aided, and Local Body institutions. Beginning on April 1, 2017, the scholarship will be awarded for Rs. 12000 annually (previously awarded for Rs.6000 annually).

NMMS Result 2025 Passing Criteria

The passing criteria for the NMMS exam have been set alike for all the states. The result is prepared based on marks scored in the two sections of the NMMS test paper: MAT (Mental Ability Test) and SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test). Each of the two sections contains 90 questions, totaling 180 questions in the NMMS exam. Students who pass the exam will have to receive an overall grade of 40% in both disciplines. Students from scheduled tribes (ST), scheduled castes (SC), and PwD, however, must receive an aggregate of 32% in both subjects.

Steps to Check NMMS Result 2024 State wise

Candidates will be able to check their NMMS score either in online mode or offline mode. In the states for which the result will be declared in online mode, students will be able to check their results by visiting the official website of the respective SCERTs. Candidates will also be able to view the result for a particular state by clicking on the direct link given below state-wise in this article. Step 1: Visit the official website of the State’s education department or the SCERT

Step 2: On that website, click on the link NMMS Result 2024-25

Step 3: The NMMS results PDF will appear on the screen

Step 4: Check for the student’s name and school details in the NMMS result merit list PDF

Step 5: If the name of the student appears in the merit list PDF, it means they passed the exam

Step 6: Along with the cutoff marks, shortlisted students will also be able to view their MAT and SAT results.

Step 7: When they locate their result, students need to download it and print the result PDF for later use.

Important Points to Get NMMS Scholarship

Candidates whose names appear in the NMMS merit list must know about some important points. The following qualifying requirements must be met by chosen candidates to receive the NMMS scholarship amount:

• The combined annual income of the candidates’ parents cannot exceed Rs. 3.50 lakh.
• The candidate must have received at least 55% of the possible marks in Class 7 (5% less for SC/ST candidates) or an equivalent grade.
• Students must have passed the annual exams with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent (5% for SC/ST) to be eligible for scholarship renewal in Classes 9 and 10.
• For the NMMS scholarship to continue in Classes 11 and 12, students must receive at least 60% (5% for SC/ST) or equivalent in their Class 10 exam results.
• Within three months of the announcement of the CBSE or equivalent board results for the previous class, students must be admitted to the next class.

What After NMMS Result 2024 Declaration?

To receive the scholarship money, students must register a joint account with their parents following the announcement of the NMMS exam results for 2023–2024. Selected applicants will be awarded a Rs.12000 annual scholarship (Rs.1000 monthly). The Public Financial Management System (PFMS) will be used by the bank to electronically transfer the monthly fund or scholarship amount to the student’s accounts.

NMMS Result 2024 Maharashtra

The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE Pune) will the NMMS Result 2024 8th class Maharashtra in February 2025. The result for the NMMS Maharashtra exam will be published on the official website at www.mscepune.in. Students who had appeared for the Maharashtra NMMS Class 8th scholarship exam can check their results using their roll number or application number. The Maharashtra was held on December 22, 2024.

NMMS Result 2024 West Bengal

In April/May 2025, the Directorate of School Education in West Bengal will release the NMMS West Bengal results. Students can find the WB NMMS test results in PDF format on the official website, scholarships.wbsed.gov.in. The NMMS West Bengal Result will be given each district, along with a merit list of 7250 candidates. The NMMS West Bengal exam 2024-25 will take place on December/January as per the last year trend.

NMMS Bihar Result 2024

The State Council of Educational Research & Training, Patna, is likely to reveal the NMMS Bihar exam results in April/May 2025. Students can view the NMMS Bihar results on the official website, scert.bihar.gov.in. The Bihar NMMS examination is generally held in January every year.

NMMS Assam Result 2024-25

The Directorate of Secondary Education in Assam will tentatively release the NMMS Assam result 2024-25 in April/May 2025. The board announces the Assam NMMS results 2025 on their official website, madhyamik.assam.gov.in. The NMMS Assam merit list is available in PDF format on the official website.

Students waiting for their results can also download the ‘Bidyarthi’ app from the Google Play Store. The board will also post the selected candidates’ merit list on the application. In the previous academic year, the Assam board only provided the NMMS Assam result merit list PDF through the app.

NMMS Result 2024 Telangana

The Directorate of Government Examinations, Telangana is anticipated to release the result for 8th class Telangana in May. Telangana’s National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) test is held in December/January, in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, and English for Class 8 pupils. NMMS Result 2024 Rajasthan

The Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research and Training (RSCERT) will publish the NMMS Rajasthan 2024-25 results online. The Rajasthan NMMS results are likely to be revealed in April. NMMS Delhi Result 2024

The NMMS Delhi results will be released by the Directorate of Education, Government of Delhi, in April/May. Students can obtain the NMMS Delhi results on the official website, edudel.nic.in. The NMMS Scholarship results PDF includes important information including the student’s full name, roll number, gender, date of birth, father’s name, and school ID. After the results are revealed, the school principal reviews and authenticates all pertinent information before submitting it to the office of the Deputy Director of Education.

NMMS Punjab Result 2024

The Punjab State Council of Educational Research and Training will declare the NMMS Punjab results in April/May. The NMMS Punjab results are available in the form of a PDF merit list. The Punjab SCERT will make the NMMS results 2024-25  merit list available in PDF format on its official website, ssapunjab.org. The NMMS Punjab 2025 exam will be held in March 2025.
