CHSE CLASS 12 Internal assessment dates

Internal assessments for science, arts, and commerce students will take place between December 23 and December 30, 2024. Each subject’s assessment will take 45 minutes. Students must prepare six A4-page handwritten reports for project-based studies, as specified by their subject teachers. These projects will be based on syllabus topics and submitted for evaluation.

CHSE 12th Practical Exam 2024-25 Dates

The Odisha 12th practical exams for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, IT, Geography, Electronics, and Computer Science will be held from January 2 to January 12, 2025. Each course will have its own specific timetable, and students should refer to the official notification for more information. Practical exams also cover vocational subjects in the arts and commerce.

CHSE Odisha advises that students arrive 30 minutes early at their examination centers and enter the exam hall 15 minutes before the commencement time. The council also stated that exams will continue as planned, even if any exam day is declared a vacation. In Commerce, group project assessments and viva voce sessions will take place, with each group containing at least 24 students. The topic teacher will supervise evaluation and viva sessions, which will last two hours and will not involve any external examiners.

Odisha CHSE Practical Exam 2025 – Instructions

Odisha Council for Higher Secondary Education will conduct practical examinations in all affiliated schools and upper secondary schools. Check out some of the general instructions Class 12th practical examinations

1. The examination (internal assessment/project and PracticalJ will be held as per the programme even if any of the dates) is subsequently declared as a holiday(s).
2. Candidates are advised to enter the examination center 30 minutes before the commencement gf the examination in a sitting and enter the examination room/hall 15 minutes before the examination to occupy the seats allotted to them.
3. Before sitting, a candidate has to ensure that she/he has occupied the seat allotted to her/him.
4. The examinations will be conducted under CCTV Surveillance. The center superintendents are requested to ensure that CCTV is made functional in all examination halls well in advance of the commencement of examination and to see that CCTVs are functioning throughout all sittings uninterruptedly.
5. For the project evaluation and viva voce in the Commerce stream, groups are to be formed taking a minimum 24 students in a group. Evaluation and viva-voice of a group is to be completed in two hours. The project evaluation and viva voce shall be conducted
by the concerned subject teacher of the institution only. There shall be no provision for an external examiner for this purpose.
6. Any omission and commission in the programme must be brought to the notice of the
Controller of Examinations immediately.
7.Question papers for internal assessment are to be prepared by the concerned subject teachers strictly following the pattern which is prescribed by the CHSE for regular candidates registered in 2023.
8. Project work should be handwritten by the students within 6 pages (A4 size paper as assigned by the concerned subiect teacher on the topic from the prescribed syllabus.
