DHSE +1 Biology Question Paper Pattern

The DHSE +1 Biology paper consists of a total of 39 questions of different types. The 19 questions are present in the Botany part while 20 questions are present in the zoology part. Students are given 2 hours to solve the 60 mark question paper. Extra 25 minutes is given to students which consists of 15 minutes of cool-off time and 10 minute of preparatory time. The pattern for both the Part A (Botany) and Part B (Zoology) of the question paper is given below.

  • Question number 1 to 4 are short answer type questions with 1 marks each. Students need to do any three questions from this section.
  • Question number 5 to 15 are short answer type questions carrying 2 marks each. Students need to attempt any nine questions from this section
  • Question Number 16 to 19 are long answer type questions with 3 marks each. Students are allowed to answer any three questions from this section.

Part B (Zoology)
