The MCA Authority has revised the PM Internship 2024 Registration Last Date. Now eligible candidate can apply online through https://pminternship.mca.gov.in/login/ portal till November 15, 2024.
PM Internship Scheme 2024
Students aged 21 to 24 are eligible to apply for the PM Internship scheme 2024. The MCA has started taking the PMIS 2024 applications from October 12, 2024. The internships will start on December 2, 2024. The government has identified all 500 partner companies and posted them on a web platform. The government announced that the portal has added over 80,000 positions in 24 areas, including oil, gas, energy, travel and hospitality, and automotive.

The closing date for applying to the PM Internship Scheme 2024, which includes a monthly stipend of Rs 5,000, is today (15 November 2024). Who Can Apply for PM Internship Scheme 2024?
Carefully read the Eligibility Criteria of the PM Internship Scheme here –
- Age Limit – The age limit for applying to the PM Internship Scheme is 21-24 years (as of the last date of application submission).
- Working Conditions – Candidates must not work full-time or study full-time.
- Education Qualifications – Degree Courses: The candidate must have earned a Bachelor’s degree from a university or institution approved by the UGC or AICTE.
ITI Courses: The candidate must have completed the Matriculation test and have finished an ITI in the relevant trade from an institution accredited by the NCVT/SCVT.
Diploma Courses: The candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam and earned a Diploma in the relevant discipline from an AICTE-approved institution. - Existing Internship – If you are participating in a skill, apprenticeship, internship, or training program sponsored by the Central or State Governments you are not allowed.
- Family Income – Your immediate family (self, parents, or spouse) or you must not earn more than ₹8 lahks in FY 2023-24
Students who are not allowed to apply
- Graduates from certain institutes such as IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, and IIITs are not allowed to apply.
- Any member of your family (self, parents) works for the government on a permanent or regular basis (excluding contractual employees).
Note – Here “government” refers to Central and State governments, Union Territory governments, Central and State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), statutory organizations, and local governments.
- You have a CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, PhD, or any other master’s or higher degree (as recognized by the UGC).
- You have previously completed an apprenticeship through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).

What to Do After Receiving An Internship Offer?
- Study the offer letter
Check that all data about your internship position, company, pay, and duration are correct.
- Accept the Deal
If you agree to the terms, formally accept it by following the instructions, which may include signing and returning a document or confirming via an online portal.
- Prepare Required Documents
Gather any documents required by the company prior to your start date, such as identity, educational certificates, and other pertinent information.
- Finish Onboarding Procedures
Follow the company’s onboarding procedures, such as filling out forms, attending orientation meetings, and completing any required training.
- Setup Payment Information
Make sure your bank information is correct when submitting stipend payments. You will get a monthly stipend of ₹4,500 from the government and ₹500 from the company’s CSR money.
- Plan Your Travel and Schedule
Set up your daily commute and schedule to coincide with the internship work hours.
- Maintain Communication
Keep in touch with your corporate contact for any updates or additional requirements prior to the start date.

PM Internship Scheme 2024 Registration Website
The PM Internship will be executed using the MCA ministry’s web portal, www.pminternship.mca.gov.in. Candidates can apply for maximum 5 programmes. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the scheme in the Union Budget 2024.
