Pragati Scholarship 2024 Last Date

The last date for the Pragati scholarship 2024-25 form is October 31, 2024. The last date for most of the scholarship forms on NSP portal including this scholarship is October 31, 2024. There is no application fees to submit this scholarship form. Students are required to submit the application form before the deadline.

 Pragati Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for the Pragati Scholarship provided by AICTE, students must meet specific criteria related to their financial situation, educational history, and other factors. Below are listed some of the criteria.

• The woman applicant needs to be accepted into the Degree level course in an AICTE-approved Institution of the respective year, either in the First year or Second year (via lateral entry).
• Up to two female children from each family can apply.
• The total family income from any source must not exceed INR Eight Lakhs per year in the present fiscal year.
• An authentic caste certificate.
• A valid income certificate.
• The student is required to possess an Aadhar card.

Steps to Fill Pragati Scholarship Application Form 2024

Students who wish to avail of the Pragati Scholarship 2024 can submit their applications on the NSP Scholarship’s official website scholarship.up.gov.in. The registration process for the scholarship programs for the academic year 2024-25 commenced on July 01, 2024. Applicants must adhere to the subsequent instructions in order to complete the internet-based application form.

Step 1: Go to the official NSP website: scholarships.gov.in

Step 2: Select the ‘Students’ choice that is provided.

Step 3: In case you are a new user, kindly select ‘OTR (One Time Registration)’.

Step 4: Return to the main page and enter the required information, which includes your OTR ID and password, to finish the NSP Scholarship Registration for 2024-25.

Step 5: Upon logging in, make sure to enter all necessary information and upload the scanned document in the specified format.

Step 6: Check the information entered and send it in for the National Scholarship Portal 2024–2025.

In order to be eligible for the Pragati Scholarship, students are required to have the following documents:

• University Enrollment Number of the student
• Aadhar Card Number
• Latest Passport Size Scan Photo
• Last Qualifying Exam Mark Sheet
• Valid Cast Certificate
• Valid Income Certificate
• Bank Passbook (Bank account must be linked to the Aadhar number)
• Fee Receipt Number

Pragati Scholarship 2024-25 Selection Criteria

Candidates will be chosen based only on their performance in the qualifying examination for admission to the Technical Degree course in AICTE-approved institutions. This includes First and Second year entry (via lateral entry) based on their percentage in the 10+2/ equivalent exam. The merit list will be sorted by State/UT based on the number of scholarships mentioned in point 3.0.

All applicants of the Pragati Scholarship 2024-25 are able to view their application status by logging in to the official NSP Scholarship portal using their credentials. This function assists them in monitoring the advancement of their application. To determine the progress of their application, students must adhere to the steps listed below:

• Step 1: Go to the NSP Scholarship’s official site- scholarship.up.gov.in
• Step 2 involves choosing the ‘Status’ and then selecting the ‘Application Status’ option provided.
• Step 3: Open a new page, enter all necessary information, and then click on the ‘Search’ button.
• Step 4: The screen will display the status of the application.

AICTE Pragati Scholarship State Wise Number of Scholarships

As stated earlier that there are only limited number of scholarships available under this AICTE scholarship scheme. To be literal, 5000 scholarships are awarded at the diploma level and 5000 scholarships are given at the degree level. Apart from the above states, the GoI has given special considerations to the following state female students to offer an impetus to the participation of female candidates in technical education.
